It was a very hot day at Versaille but Claudio made our day so fun and special. I loved all the history he shared with us about Versailles and also Paris I feel we made a new friend in Paris!

Claudio our guide spoke perfect English. Had a vast knowledge of French history. Very informative and amusing. Arrived on time. Comfortable car. Very well paced. Answered many questions. Was enthusiastic. I suffer from mobility issues and Claudio paced the walking to fit in with my needs and sought out lifts where possible.

Claudio was a terrific guide for our visit to Versailles! So knowledgeable! He has access to an entrance to the gardens at drop off that no one else was using- no line. So glad we chose the private tour with transportation. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was seamless. Comfortable Mercedes van. The conversation was effortless, Claudio and driver Jay speak excellent English. We received quite the history lesson both inside and on the palace grounds. Highly recommend using Claudio’s company!!

Highly recommend booking a guided tour. I went with my mother who has some mobility issues and this streamlined the entire experience. They lucked us up at our hotel and dropped us back but would have dropped us anywhere in Paris we wanted to go so you can plan for the rest of your day. Our guide, Malaika, provided an amazing experience. She told us the stories of history, the juicy gossip, and gave us insightful tips on the art and other aspects of the palace and grounds. Without which the trip would have been much less impactful. Worth every penny!

Versailles is more than just a magnificent looking palace that gives you a glimpse of the golden age of the French monarchy - with Claudio as your private tour guide, you walk out being so much more informed and educated. I love the story telling in Claudio’s approach in showcasing Versailles - the people, not just Louis XIV but the people that came before and after him, are all so critical to the French culture. And I can finally explain to someone what “let them eat cake” meant (although Marie Antoinette never said it - also never knew her story).
