We had heard about this massive fort not far from Bangalore. When we saw this tour being offered 5 senses tours, we signed up immediately. It was a lovely day climbing the massive fort. Our guide told us about the fascinating history of this fort. The view from the top was amazing. I. would recommend this tour to anyone who has a full free day.
The trip was so good as the climate was conducive and we decided to climb the fort early morning. The guide knows all the information about the fort and minutely was explaining the details about the fort. The story of the brave lady of Chitradurga was inspiring and it is proud to see that woman folk were empowered then. Different kinds of birds in the fort were treat to eyes. The winds at the top of the hill where Hidambeshwar temple is situated, is an experience of life. The festival that is conducted during holy celebration explained by the guide was happening in front of me. I could feel that I was participating in the festival.
Chitradurga fort is a marvelous creation. It is such an underrated place. I didn't know much abt the same until I stepped in. We had our guide who literally took us through the experience of the fort explaining the architecture, the famous stry behind the fort, and the breathtaking views all around the place. It was like a time travel experience. Also it was great to see the world famous monkey Raja defying gravity with his climbing skills. Too anyone exploring Karnataka. I would definitely say this is a must vist. Thanks to 5 senses for this memorable experience
I am in Bangladesh for business and wanted to get out of town for the weekend. I chose 5 Senses Tours to help facilitate two day trips. On Sunday we went to Chitradurga Fort. I enjoyed the trip. Satish and the driver got me there safely and back, and Satish answered all my questions, throwing in interesting trivia along the way. Getting to drive through the Sunday market in Chitradurga was an extra bonus. Satish also arranged for a tour of Ankalagi Cave, which was an interesting addition to the tour that I enjoyed. Narayan worked with me by email to arrange the day, and I appreciated His recommendation to visit the Fort as a way to see some interesting history, and satisfy my request for some outdoor physical exercise at the same time.
