We did a wine tour and had a really enjoyable experience overall. Our guide, Tonny, was a cool and easygoing guy, though he spoke a bit softly at times which made it slightly hard to hear. The highlight was definitely the wine farm itself—the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were treated to warm, fresh bread and a delicious meat platter, which paired perfectly with the wines. And the wines… absolutely delicious. A lovely, relaxed experience—great for soaking in good food, good wine, and warm hospitality. 🍷

Despite being a winter Sunday with few options open, the tour was excellent, and the guide showed great knowledge of the place. The wine and lunch were amazing. We loved everything.

my friend and I were incredibly excited to get on this tour and view wineries and Samobor for the day. The trip ended up being very messy. Our first stop from the Zagreb city center was Samobor, although according to the itinerary online we were supposed to head to the Plešivica wine trail and try our first wine (the sparkling wine of the region). Tony was very kind and gave us a walk around the town, exploring the church, town square and walking along the stream, ending with kremsnite and coffee. On our way to the winery we stopped by a crystal cutting shop where the owners were not present. It felt like an impromptu stop and ill planned. From there we headed to the Plešivica wine region. Although we were told there were no issues with the tour, it is currently grape picking season and our guide, Tony was on the phone with wineries trying to find options of places to go. Instead of the listed wineries on the itinerary, we went to Kurtalj winery, where we tried five different wines and bought two. We were the only people there and the owner was incredibly nice. However, we had assumed we would hit up another establishment as the itinerary promised two destinations for tasting. Instead we were brought home and the tour was ended. It did not feel well prepared or organized, and more was expected given the price paid. We do not recommend this experience at the given cost.

We had a lovely relaxing last day in Zagreb travelling by private car to Samovor - beautiful old town and tasted local cream slice - light n tasty.then a visit to local renown crystal glass cutting workshop - real craftsmanship at work.Then picturesque drive along the “ wine road” up the hills for a very pleasant informative 6 wine tasting accompanied by local cheese, salami and prosciutto- Jagunic wines - very nice sparkling wines - great day and Toni our driver was very professional informative and lovely man to chat about Croatian life

Really great morning. Relaxed pace with a great walk around Samabor and fabulous coffee and cake. We then went to see some great crystal cutting at a small producer- amazing to see the quality crystal produced from a small area with a limited number of machines. We then drove around the wine region and had a great lunch and tasted 6 amazing wines at one vineyard. A truly lovely trip- highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time with Tom. He personalized the tour to what we wanted to do. Coffee and cake, a small museum, a place that makes beautiful crystal, then a fantastic winery in the hills. Great good, great wine and a chance to chat with the winemaker. It was a great way to see a bit of Croatia outside of Zagreb.

Our tour guide, Jakov, was funny, knowledgeable and the vehicle we were in was comfortable. Although the weather was rather cool, we still had an amazing time, learned quite a bit about Wine And Croatia life. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who likes wine and wants a deep perspective of the culture. Thank you Jakov for the amazing time.

Jakov is an instant friend and gives you a lot of really interesting inside info you would never learn from a tour book. I highly recommend to hire him for any sort of tour. You will not be disappointed.
