Was a great experience from the time of pickup until we got back to the hotel. Peter K. was a great tour driver. He made the experience feel more like friends going for a road trip around the Peloponnese. Peter provided a lot of interesting facts and made for good conversation all day. Having a private tour allows for customizing the day and stops where need be. Getting the fast pass admission ticket made the experience easy. Felt like I had just the right amount of time for each stop. Overall, was a highlight of the Greece trip.

Many thanks to Peter for this lovely day, from start to finish everything was perfect, he is indeed a fantastic storyteller, patiently giving us informations on the sites we visited and even on other sites of interest, not to mention a skilled driver navigating the joy of Athenian traffic. The journey was memorable for us, with a nice sunny day (no rain on the horizon, probably due to his special power over the weather!), and with a pleasant soundtrack. We won't forget his warmth and kindness, and we hope to see him again soon for another unforgettable journey.

We truly had a wonderful experience yesterday. Our driver and guide, Yannis was incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable, and patient throughout the entire day. He shared so much interesting history in a way that was engaging and easy to follow that my daughter enjoyed a lot. His recommendations were spot on. What really stood out was his genuine care in making sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Nothing felt rushed, and he was always attentive to our interests and needs. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re very happy to hear you had such a wonderful day with Yannis. It means a lot to know that both you and your daughter enjoyed the tour, the history, and the experience overall. Yannis always does his best to make each trip comfortable, relaxed, and personal, so your feedback will mean a lot to him. Thank you again for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back to Greece in the future!
Yannis was amazing! We knew we would like this particular tour but Yannis took it to another level!!! His knowledge of the area and history of each location was priceless. We were a family of seven, that included my 90 year old father, who was in the US Navy here many years ago. He and Yannis had some wonderful conversations. I would definitely recommend this Private Tour and if Yannis is your tour guide you will have the best time! Thank you so much Yannis!!!
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that Yannis made your day extra special — he truly loves what he does, and it shows. It’s especially heartwarming to know your father enjoyed reconnecting with memories from his time in the Navy and sharing those moments with Yannis. We really appreciate the recommendation and hope to welcome you and your family back anytime. Safe travels and thanks again for choosing Ancient Greece Tours & Transfers!

Our driver Peter was extremely knowledgeable about Greek history and archaeology. He provided comprehensive background info for the places where we visited. He had great humor and personality. And he had gone out of his way to help my wife shop for the stuff she looked for. In short, he was gold standard for a driver/guide.

We had an absolutely amazing time touring the historical sites around Athens with Tas, Yannis, Peter, Giannis, and Eva from Ancient Greek Tours. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised, informative, and full of personal touches that made the experiences truly unforgettable. George and his team are not only incredibly knowledgeable about Greek history and mythology, but they are also warm, engaging, and passionate about what they do. Each stop on the tour was brought to life with fascinating stories, insightful commentary, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and explore. Yannis’s, Giannis and Eva’s deep understanding of ancient Greek history and culture, Tas and Peter’s humour and energy made every moment enjoyable. Whether it was walking through the Acropolis, marvelling at the Temple of Poseidon, or discovering hidden gems off the beaten path around Corinth, every part of the tour felt thoughtful and immersive. We never felt rushed and moved from site to site at a paced that suited us ... allowing for a much more personal and enriching experience. If you’re planning to visit Athens and want to go beyond the guidebooks, we highly recommend Ancient Greek Tours. They made our trip truly special, and we’re so grateful for the memories! Thank you, George, Tas, Yannis, Peter, Giannis, Eva, and the entire team!
