Tolosa, a antiga capital da região e um dos melhores lugares para encontrar produtos crus. Depois de um curto passeio pelo vilarejo onde nos depararemos com muitos palácios e casas ancestrais dentro de sua cidade antiga, passaremos pelo Vale do Urola e visitaremos o Monte Ernio, considerado a varanda da região e um dos seus picos mais emblemáticos.
O Santuário de Loyola um imponente templo barroco do século XVIII construído em torno do local de nascimento de Santo Inácio, o fundador da Companhia de Jesus, os jesuítas, com destaque para a basílica.
faremos uma rápida parada em Zumaia. A Costa Basca é um autêntico paraíso natural com tesouros que você não encontrará em nenhum outro lugar do mundo. Um exemplo é o flysch de Zumaia, que cobre 14 quilômetros de costa, constituindo um dos mais proeminentes afloramentos geológicos do planeta.
Finalmente, e tomando uma estrada costeira cênica, vamos parar na encantadora vila de Getaria. Apesar de ser muito pequeno, tem uma reputação merecida pelos seus restaurantes de peixe grelhado, o vinho Txakoli e seus dois filhos ilustres: o famoso estilista Cristobal Balenciaga, e Juan Sebastián Elcano, o primeiro homem a circunavegar a terra em 1519

Andoni was a great guide. Warm, personable, engaging, knowledgeable. Spoke excellent English, was flexible in itinerary (even when we were already underway!), made excellent recommendations. Prompt and attentive. Vehicle was clean and appeared well maintained. Well worth the price. If we had longer to stay, my wife and I would have booked other excursions with him again without question.

We did a private tour starting right from our hotel at La Concha in San Sebastián, and it was an unforgettable day! We started our day with a 9am pick up & visited Monte Igueldo first, then made a stop at the beach in Zarautz before heading to Ameztoi Winery for a gorgeous tour and tasting — all set up by Andoni. After that, we went to Getaria for a lovely seaside lunch (also arranged by Andoni) and ended the day in Zumaia to see the incredible Flysch rock formations. We arrived back to the hotel at 5pm! Andoni was super knowledgeable, friendly, and fun — he customized the entire day to our interests and made everything seamless. He shared local insights we never would’ve known on our own and gave us the perfect mix of beautiful views, great food, and culture. Highly recommend booking a tour with him — it was one of the highlights of our trip!
