Laguardia é uma vila encantadora na Espanha conhecida por suas ruas estreitas de paralelepípedos e seu traçado urbano medieval em forma de amêndoa. Possui muralhas fortificadas e uma rede de túneis subterrâneos usados historicamente como adegas. Com a sua rica história e paisagens pitorescas, Laguardia oferece uma visão única do passado.
A Vinícola Ostatu, situada na encantadora cidade de Samaniego, na região de Rioja Alavesa, é uma propriedade histórica de propriedade familiar com raízes que remontam a mais de 250 anos. Instalada num edifício do século XVIII que já serviu como pousada rural, a vinícola reflete a profunda hospitalidade e as ricas tradições do País Basco. A família Sáenz de Samaniego administra 40 hectares de vinhedos, cultivando variedades de uvas como Tempranillo, Graciano e Malvasia. A Vinícola Ostatu é reconhecida por seu compromisso com a qualidade e inovação, combinando métodos tradicionais com técnicas modernas para produzir vinhos excepcionais.
Em seguida, visitaremos a Bodega Gómez Cruzado, uma das vinícolas mais antigas do Barrio de la Estación em Haro, fundada em 1886. Bodegas Roda, uma vinícola moderna mas elegante localizada ao lado do histórico Barrio de la Estación em Haro. Construído acima de um antigo porão subterrâneo do século XIX, o vinhedo foi projetado para trabalhar com gravidade e condições naturais, combinando arquitetura contemporânea com filosofia tradicional de fabricação de vinhos. Nós exploramos o porão subterrâneo antes de desfrutar de uma degustação de seus famosos vinhos, incluindo Roda I vermelho e Roda I branco, acompanhado por uma degustação de seu azeite de alta qualidade.
Hora de almoçar em restaurante familiar em Labastida. Oferece um delicioso cardápio da culinária regional riojana, com especialidades que destacam os sabores locais. The best wine tour and overall experience we could have wished for. I’d booked this months ago for my husband’s birthday and had no idea what to expect. We were blown away by our guide’s knowledge and experience, Martin was absolutely brilliant. His enthusiasm and attention to detail was superb. The Rioja wines were incredible, we tasted a wide variety and learnt about new styles and how the winery’s are adapting to change. Our three course lunch was delicious, served in a wonderful restaurant by great staff. Make sure you’re hungry when you go on this trip!
What a fantastic way to celebrate a birthday! We're delighted that the day lived up to the surprise and became such a memorable experience for both of you. I really can’t rate this trip highly enough. Luis our driver and guide was fantastic. He had lots of information about the region, about the history and about life! The tour packs in quite a lot so definitely get breakfast before you go as you visit the three wineries before lunch. Each of the wineries had a unique approach to their wine whether it was experimenting with different storage or their use of grapes. All the wines were delicious and the staff at each of the wineries were very knowledgeable. And lunch was fantastic. It’s a local family run restaurant that transports you back in time. Definitely have the lamb ribs! One of the highlights of my time in the region 😊

We had a fantastic experience on the Rioja Uncorked tour with Ikusnahi Tours and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our guide, Ernes, picked us up promptly at 8:15 a.m. in a comfortable Mercedes six-passenger van and immediately set the tone for an exceptional day. During the drive to Rioja, he shared a fascinating history of the region, taught us a few Basque phrases, and gave us an excellent introduction to Rioja wines and the different classifications used to categorize them. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and friendliness made the journey as enjoyable as the winery visits themselves. Over the course of the day, we visited four wineries, enjoying three wines at each stop along with thoughtfully selected snacks. Every winery host was welcoming, informative, and passionate about their wines. The tastings were generous, the wines were delicious, and each winery offered a unique perspective on the region’s winemaking traditions. The scenery throughout the day was absolutely stunning. The drive through Rioja wine country is gorgeous, with beautiful landscapes in every direction. Despite fitting so much into the day, the pace never felt rushed, and we were comfortably back at our apartment by 5:00 p.m. If you’re visiting the Basque Country and have any interest in wine, this tour is an absolute must. Outstanding guide, wonderful wineries, excellent wines, breathtaking scenery, and seamless organization from start to finish. Five stars!

We were a group of six friends who did a full day Rioja wine tour from Bilbao. We had an absolutely fantastic day. We visited three wineries and each was very different which made for a very interesting day with a great variety of outstanding wines. Lunch was also fantastic with great food and wine. The best thing about the tour was our guide Luis - he gave us lots of information about the region, the wineries and the wine and was fantastic company throughout the day. We all really enjoyed the whole day.

My husband and I had the best time in the Rioja Alta and Alavesa wine regions with our guide Luis! We booked a group tour but no one else signed up so it ended up private. We were lucky to have Luis as our guide to make it an incredible day! The itinerary was perfect - we loved the drive through the mountains, farmland, and vineyards, and Luis kept us on track without over managing the day. All the wineries we went to were excellent and we didn’t feel awkward even though we are not educated wine drinkers. Also nothing felt overproduced as we were nervous about booking any tour initially - but certainly made the right choice with this one. Luis was incredibly knowledgeable about the region, wines, and anything and everything basque. He was also just fun to spend the day with and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! We hope to be back again soon!! I should add - the lunch was excellent quality and will certainly be one of the highlights of our trip as well!

Rioja is at its best when experienced at a relaxed pace, meeting real people, visiting wineries with character and leaving room for spontaneous conversations along the way. We had the best day hanging with our guide Luis and learning about the Basque Country and Rioja wine region! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the region and the wines - and was super fun to chat with too. We could not have had a better experience. The 3 vineyards we visited were all unique with their own traditions and wines that gave us a great idea of what Rioja Wine Country is all about. We had an unbelievable lunch to cap off the trip too. We had the BEST day in Rioja thanks to our amazing tour guide, Louis! 🍷✨ He took us to two incredible wineries and a delicious lunch, and made the entire experience so special from start to finish. Not only was he unbelievably knowledgeable about wine, Spain, and the Basque Country, he was so genuine and sweet - truly an angel!! 💛 We learned so much, laughed nonstop, and felt completely taken care of the entire day. We had a perfect day in the most gorgeous panoramic wine country with Luis. He had a great vibe and did a great job answering my 21 questions about misc basque history. I was impressed with the wineries we visited they seemed like a very intentional curation. I love meeting people who are passionate about their craft and their communities. Lunch was exceptional. Laguardia was whimsical in way that must be experienced in person.

Luis: it was a great tour! Very informative and fun. Nice snacks with the tastings and very different wineries. Great lunch also! And note for future clients: the van was very comfortable and spacious. It was also fun to be with another couple that was so friendly and humored us old people!
Booked via third party for a small group tour. Turns out it became a private tour as my party was the only group that day. We spent a beautiful day with Luis and Malena. They were deeply knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with; it felt like traveling with two friends who happened to be experts. It was rainy on-and-off as the season dictates, but Luis's expert driving got us around safely and quickly. The wineries visited were fantastic and varied curations showcasing tradition, modernity, and everything in between. Not to mention fantastic wines! Each tasting leader from the wineries themselves were great too. The time spent in Laguardia was so cool. Amazing history in that town and a great view of the region. Lunch was delicious and a very special experience. Thank you Luis and Malena for showing us such an amazing time! We would love to visit with you again and bring our friends & family too!
