A good look at the highland lochs, villages and castles. A good day out in the country. A good introduction to the country side

All the sites were very interesting. Our tour guide stevie gave us options of things to see at each stop. Also recommended places we could eat. You should bring rain gear in case the weather changes. Scenery along the way was beautiful.

The tour itself was good. The tour guide was a little low energy. He seemed knowledgeable enough, just a bit monotone.

Douglas took us on a wonderful tour of the Highlands. We were glad to receive the tip to prebook tickets to Doune Castle. That stop was our favorite on the trip. Douglas was knowledgeable and full of stories that he told us during the drive. He also put together a playlist of music that he played throughout the journey and gave an introduction before each song. Douglas also made a short stop at a farm for us to feed some adorable highland coos. The van was also very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend this tour for a day trip outside of Edinburgh.

We recently took this tour and loved it! Kyle, the tour guide, was knowledgeable, funny, kind, accomodating, and made the experience such a positive one! He clearly loves what he does and is extremely knowledgeable about the history and ecology of the area. He grew up in the area where the tour goes, so he had fun tidbits to share along the way. The landscape and castles were gorgeous and I really appreciated the commentary as well as the playlist of Scottish music that he shared along the drive. We had one hiccup with the sound system malfunctioning (fuse blew) making it hard to hear Kyle in the back of the van. He handled the situation like a pro and surprised us with arranging a new vehicle at one of the stops. You won't be disappointed if you choose this tour- it was a highlight for my family during our time in Scotland.

Great tour. Had so much fun and got lots of time to explore. Guide was a blast! Offer lots of history and folklore . He was also super fun and engaging. I would pay to do this one again! Guide Even gave us lift back to our hotel so we could catch our train.

This trip was incredible, driving through the beautiful countryside, stopping at castles, lakes, viewpoints, and quaint villages. Kyle, our driver and guide was amazing. He was super friendly, fun, and very informative about the places we visited, as well as Scottish culture. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful day with Brian as our guide! There were only five of us on the tour, 3 of us being very well-behaved and respectful. The other 2, not so much. It was frustrating for everyone else that these 2 individuals cared nothing about the schedule and displayed an attitude of entitlement. Brian handled it wonderfully, gave them plenty of guidance at every stop (for which they cared not the slightest), and took us on our way. These roads were so tricky; twisty and steep at times, but this was clearly not Brian’s first day on this route and he got us through the day with ease. His commentary was informative and interesting, with humorous anecdotes throughout. The booking, descriptions, and instructions were perfect; all very organized. We sometimes go into these tours with a bit of skepticism but happy to report that we were quickly at ease when we boarded the lovely coach on time. We loved Scotland and will be back to book another tour with Discover Scotland!
