Great day, covering many of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer. Sadly we didn't see Dolphins on our trip. Both our tour guide (Mohammed) and driver for the day (Khalid) were excellent.
I booked this tour and at first they postponed the tour to another date due to "insufficient bookings". On the new date they didn't show up at all and there was zero communication from them. I tried calling them and messaging but there was no response infact their phone was off. My hotel even tried calling then on my behalf but the number was unavailable. They are very disorganised and bordering on being a scam. I'm still waiting to see if I can get a refund. I would not recommend anyone to book this tour.
Our driver picked us up at 8 a.m. and we set off for an unforgettable day. We snorkeled at Mmnemba Island, saw countless fish, and enjoyed stunning views on a sandbar in the middle of the ocean and it felt like heaven! Later, we explored the jungle and tried traditional Zanzibari food, the most delicious I’ve ever had. At Salam Cave, we swam with turtles, fed them, and even petted a little monkey. We also swam with dolphins an absolutely incredible experience. The tour ended at The Rock Restaurant, where we enjoyed a cocktail and breathtaking ocean views. Abdullah (who also speaks german), and Tumay were amazing guides, funny, friendly, and full of stories. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Zanzibar. A true must-do!
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Our tour guide Rashi was incredible and so patient! Best meal we had the entire trip as well! This was the highlight of our trip DO NOT miss this incredible opportunity!
One of the great vacation days of my life! The boat tour with dolphins was incredible— and just the start! Spice Tours are amazing. Lunch was amazing. Guides very professional. Caves…also amazing.
Unfortunately, our guide has not come. The excursion was carried out almost exclusively by the captain. Especially when snorkeling with the children we would have needed the guide. We paid for it, after all.
Pleasant excursion overall. A lot of road though. No time to enjoy the beaches, and places visited like the Rock.
While there were some enjoyable moments on this excursion—like swimming with sea turtles and a brief but magical 2-minute encounter with dolphins on the way back from snorkeling—much of the experience was misleading and disappointing. We were promised 3 hours of snorkeling at Mnemba Island, but only snorkeled for 45 minutes far off the coast. The advertised WiFi in the vehicle was nonexistent, and we spent over 5.5 hours in the car due to poor planning. The spice farm and lunch location were different from what was advertised, though the food was traditional and excellent. A major letdown was the reservation at The Rock restaurant, where we were promised two complimentary bottles of sparkling wine—none were provided, and I had to spend $60 out of pocket. While parts of the day were memorable, the package was not delivered as sold,
Quite a bit of time driving between stops, but well worth the drive. We saw dolphins, had a great snorkel, lunch on a spice farm and swam with turtles.
The staff were friendly throughout the tour and arrived at our hotel 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time. During the dolphin-watching tour, they swam with us to the spot and even took videos for us. After that, we moved to a snorkeling spot, where we swam with many beautiful fish. Then, we headed to a sandbank and took some photos. For lunch, we moved to a different location and enjoyed a delicious Tanzanian meal, prepared in a traditional kitchen, while learning about the wild-growing spices in the natural surroundings. The food was amazing. Next, we visited a spot where we could interact with turtles and then headed to Kuza Cave. The cave was mystical, with crystal-clear and refreshingly cool water where we could swim. Finally, we visited The Rock Restaurant, where we had the option to make a reservation for dinner if we wished. It was an incredibly fulfilling and wonderful tour. I am truly satisfied!
