Our guide was very knowledgeable about all the things, and the tour was pleasant and tasty. We were a large party, though, and had several hearing impaired folks. It could have been improved by providing some written notes about what was included with the tour before ordering at each location. Alternatively, the guide could have checked in with the folks who were having trouble understanding.
Personally, this food tour has been the best because the guide has been informative. Also, I like how he described everything about Maine

Guide was excellent & very personable & had much knowledge of the local restaurants & foods. His food & restaurant recommendations were great. The tour was the right balance of not too much food & not too much walking.
Sounds like your guide hit the sweet spot—just enough steps to feel virtuous and just enough food to undo all that virtue. Glad the local tips were as tasty as the tour itself!
Tour guide was a man of very few words. Awkward periods of silence. People just took out their phones to fill time. Your guide should should have some information about the cuisine, area, anything would be better than just guiding us to each restaurant (mind you all three were Asian, not much of a world of cuisine tour) watched us eat then moved on. Would not recommend this tour if he’s a guide,

We did a world of flavors tour. Great food from 4 corners of the world and an experienced guide. I liked that you didn't just get what the proprietors decided, but could order from the menu (with some reasonable constraints). This was a rainy tour, so we spent more time inside than walking around, but the guide still managed to tell us a lot about the food scene in Portland and give lots of tips for other places to try. Highly recommended for anyone visiting or new to Portland looking for something other than the standard Maine fare (which of course is great as well).

We had a wonderful time on a frigid, beautiful evening in Portland. Our guide Jimmy was genial and informative and created a relaxed and delicious evening. Definitely recommend this tour and we plan to be back for more on our next trip to this fabulous city.

The food tour was really fun. We went to an Indian restaurant, sushi, mexican and gelato for dessert. Jimmy was interesting and gave us a lot of info/history about Portland.
