Hwaseong Fortress é uma estrutura impressionante da última parte da dinastia Joseon (1392-1910). A fortaleza foi construída como uma demonstração da piedade filial do rei Jeongjo para com seu pai.
Um Hwaseong Haenggung era um palácio temporário onde o rei e a família real se refugiaram durante uma guerra. We walked slowly through the walls and visited the palace. Our guide, Tian, is very knowledgeable and teaches us about drama, history, and various aspects of Suwon Hwaseong. I definitely recommend going on the tour rather than going on your own!
