A excursão perfeita se estiver à procura de uma viagem diversificada, visitando num só dia um local altamente espiritual (Santuário de Fátima), o melhor exemplo da arquitetura gótica em Portugal (Mosteiro da Batalha), a antiga vila de pescadores, conhecida mundialmente nos dias de hoje como a “Meca do surf” (Nazaré) e uma adorável vila medieval (Óbidos)… tudo num único dia sem longas viagens de carro.

Começando esta fantástica excursão particular, partindo de Lisboa, em uma hora de carro chegaremos ao Santuário de Fátima, encontraremos três locais de interesse onde você poderá assistir a uma missa (opcional), visitar a Capela das Aparições, a primeira Capela ser construída imediatamente após as aparições ocupando um lugar de destaque, não por seu tamanho ou grandeza, mas sim pelo local, praticamente no centro do Santuário. A Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Rosário, construída em 1928 em estilo neobarroco, abriga hoje os túmulos das crianças, mas também a tumba de Irmã Lúcia que faleceu em 2005, e a Basílica da Santíssima Trindade, construída em 2007 com mais de 8.000 lugares e 40.000 m² de área foram projetados pelo arquiteto grego Alexandros Tombazis, uma igreja moderna e bastante imponente.
A pedra exposta de tonalidade quente faz do Mosteiro da Batalha um importante marco da história de Portugal, num período de reafirmação da sua independência em Castela (Espanha) Um edifício em estilo gótico tardio, o resultado da gestão sensata dos maiores mestres portugueses e internacionais de seu mestre fundador Afonso Domingues ao genial Huguet, terminando no “estilo manuelino” de Mateus Fernandes, a Capela do Fundador e as “Capelas Imperfeitas” são o panteão de reis e príncipes marcadas pela tradição escolástica dos frades dominicanos que representam a Cidade Celestial.
Nazaré é uma aldeia pictórica com um passado intenso, bem retratada no patrimônio arquitetônico, com muitas igrejas e casas tradicionais que trazem uma atmosfera muito pitoresca, sendo o primeiro local de culto em Portugal. No passado recente, o fenômeno do Canhão da Nazaré, ondas fenomenais que tornaram Nazaré famosa em todo o mundo, e em 2013 o surfista americano McNamara quebrou o recorde mundial ao surfar uma onda de cerca de 30 metros de altura. Outra coisa curiosa são as “sete saias” das esposas de Nazaré, que as mostram orgulhosamente aos visitantes.
Em Óbidos (patrimônio mundial pela UNESCO), voltaremos no tempo enquanto percorremos as lindas e estreitas ruas repletas de lojas tradicionais, ao longo das velhas casas pintadas de branco, passando por suas paredes e imaginando como era o período medieval lá. Óbidos foi usado como um presente de casamento de D. Dinis para sua esposa D. Isabel. A vila se tornou parte da Casa das Rainhas, extinta apenas em 1834, e a maioria das rainhas portuguesas passou por lá, deixando grandes benefícios. D. Catarina mandou construir o aqueduto e as fontes.

We had an unforgettable experience! The private tour exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to be guided by Diogo, who was very kind, professional, knowledgeable and patient. I wish our trip was a bit longer to be able to book other destinations with them.
Great personalized tour of Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. Tips: Have a sense of where you want to spend your time. Nazare is a beach town with some great views - not so much to see otherwise, but a good lunch stop. One could spend 1/2 day just at Fatima, especially if you are Catholic. Obidos is cool to see - you could linger there in one of the bars or restaurants, otherwise an hour unless you want to do a lot of shopping. We had Pedro as our guide - he was very courteous and personable!
We are coming back from doing this tour feeling quite disappointed as we have been unlucky to meet a guide (Jose is the name by the way)nothing professional. First of all, he did not speak fluent Spanish and we had a hard time understanding his explanations. It was dry, not pleasant and not helpful. We had to get the information from him at the beginning and in the end we ended up desisting from asking and searching the information online. We really could have done this tour on our own account and now almost 500 euros as it only served as a driver (we went to Lisbon in our own car by the way) and also creating an unpleasant atmosphere in all aspects. Another thing that disappointed me is that in Obidos you are sold the story of typical cherry liquor tastings but you have to pay for it, not as in other tours that offer you typical sweets like in Sintra and Belém. We feel quite conned with this experience and will never book with this company again obviously. A dire experience.

En cuanto al coste del tour, es importante señalar que las plataformas de gestión de servicios tienen comisiones que se reflejan en el precio final. Sin embargo, lo más importante y que no menciona en su crítica, es que usted no pagó absolutamente nada. Ante su malestar expresado mediante los mensajes que nos envió mientras aún estaba en el coche, decidimos restituirle el 100% del valor del tour ese mismo día. Nuestra prioridad era su bienestar y, aunque el servicio no cumplió sus expectativas debido a este contratiempo de salud de nuestro equipo, actuamos con total responsabilidad y honestidad financiera de inmediato. This was our best tour on our vacation. Paula called me via WhatsApp a few minutes prior to our meeting time to let us know that she was at the end of the Gangplank and gave us her description. She was there waiting and immediately escorted us to her vehicle. Our small group was on the road prior to any ship excursion even made it to shore. She was detailed on our full itinerary and timeframes at each location. Our trip to Fatima was fast and fantastic. We got there quickly and managed to see everything before the Ship guided tours arrived. Beating the crowds from the ship made seeing everything quick and easy. She never had to rush us and kept sharing facts and history about the locations we were visiting. I wish I can give her a higher rating here. Keeping our group together was like herding cats at times, but she did it all with a smile. When our tour was completed, she monitored traffic and knew all the roads. She got us back to our ship with plenty of time to spare. We came to Lisbon looking for a tour guide. We ended up leaving a close Friend behind. We love you Paula and hope to see you again in our future travels to Portugal.
Private drive to Fatima. We toured ourselves and loved it. Driver was very good, completely flexible and efficient dropped us right at the entrance and pickup the same. Nice half day from Lisbon.

Victor was our driver and guide. He gave us all the time we wanted to pray and tour around Fatima. We went to town with all of our photo opportunity in Batalha, Nazare, and especially Obidos. Even though it was a long day, he was very patient with us and did not rush us at all. He recommended Mosteiro Do Leitao for lunch. Their crispy pork did not disappoint. He even made a list of recommended restaurants by locals in Lisbon for us. He's a safe driver, patient guide, and definitely know his food. The whole trip was seamless.
