O complexo do mosteiro medieval de Kecharis está localizado na parte noroeste da cidade de Tsaghkadzor. Destaca-se não só pela originalidade arquitetônica, mas também pela interessante história. Sua formação durou 220 anos, com mais de 150 anos de interrupção. Tal destino se deveu às peculiaridades do período histórico. A construção do mosteiro começou durante o reinado da dinastia Bagratuni e continuou pela dinastia Pahlavuni. A primeira igreja na área do complexo monástico de Kecharis, São Gregório, o Iluminador, foi construída em 995-1003, e depois outros locais sagrados foram construídos. O mosteiro Kecharis inclui três igrejas, São Gregório, o Iluminador, com um salão abobadado, igrejas de São Nshan e São Cathoghike, duas capelas e um pátio. Um pouco mais a oeste, a caminho da floresta, existe outra igreja – St Harutiun. Ao contrário dos mosteiros semelhantes da Arménia, as estruturas principais de Kecharis formam um canto recto sobre os seus próprios pilares.
O alto das montanhas do Lago Sevan é a “pérola da Armênia”. Lago Sevan - localizado a uma altitude de 1.900 m acima do nível do mar no centro do planalto armênio, 63 km a nordeste da capital armênia da cidade de Yerevan e é o maior dos lagos do Cáucaso. De todos os lados, Sevan é cercado por cadeias de montanhas, oferecendo uma vista deslumbrante do lago alpino .. O lago é famoso por sua mais pura água doce, e puro ar da montanha tem um efeito benéfico sobre a saúde.
O complexo do mosteiro Sevanavank está localizado na península de Sevan. Em 305, foi fundada por São Gregório, o Iluminador, que construiu a igreja no lugar de um templo pagão. No século IX, os príncipes de Syunik fizeram de Sevan um ponto de apoio. Em 874, a esposa do príncipe Syassika Vassak e a filha do rei Ashot Bagratuni - Mariam construíram aqui duas igrejas - St. Arakeloc e St. Astvatcatcin. Eles são ricos em várias capitais esculpidas em madeira, cujo aprt é mantido no Museu de História do Estado da Armênia e na Galeria de Arte de São Petersburgo (Hermitage). Em 1869, uma escola espiritual foi inaugurada no complexo. No topo da montanha da ilha, os remanescentes da igreja com um salão abobadado são preservados. O teritório do claustro é rico em khachqars (pedras cruzadas).
O teleférico de Tsaghkadzor está localizado na encosta leste do Monte Teghenis, 1966-2819 m acima do nível do mar. Está em funcionamento desde 1967. Da altura de 2.819 m, onde o rápido teleférico o levará em 32 minutos, toda a Armênia é visível à primeira vista e, se o tempo estiver bom, você pode desfrutar de uma vista deslumbrante do Monte Ararat. Em 2004 o antigo teleférico foi substituído por um novo e moderno, também em 2017 foram realizados importantes investimentos. Agora que o teleférico está bem equipado, o descanso ativo e seguro dos turistas está garantido.

Our 2nd day tour in Armenia was absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of our trip. We truly enjoyed every stop and felt so blessed to experience snow for the first time — it was magical! ❄️✨ The cable car ride in Tsaghkadzor was unforgettable, especially as first-timers. We also loved warming up with hot chocolate there — it was really good and perfect for the cold weather ☕🤍 Lake Sevan was stunning, and the restaurant beside the lake was a great choice. The food was delicious and the view made the experience even better. Most importantly, our tour guide Davit Tovmasyan was excellent — very kind, professional, and speaks English very well, which made everything easy and enjoyable for us. He explained the places clearly and made the whole day smooth and fun. Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable day. Highly recommended — we enjoyed it so much and will cherish these memories of Armenia forever 🇦🇲❤️

The experience was really nice. We booked the whole Armenia trip with IFly tourism. We experienced the cable ride and it was amazing. The view was from the top was exceptional. We also went to see the Sevan Lake. The view was really beautiful and it was veryy cold. We drank some coffee and hot chocolate and enjoyed the view. The car ride seeing the place fully covered with white snow was really beautiful. Everyone should experience this in their life atleast once. A lot of thanks to IFly tourism.

Good experience. All the places have their own charm. Its nice to be picked up and dropped off at your hotel. A little bit pricey, ultimately paying for a cab ride.
