Harald took us on a 3 hour walking tour of Berlin. We visited many places linked to WW2 and the Cold War. He was a fantastic guide, very knowledgable and humorous. It was a great start to our 3 day trip to Berlin. I would thoroughly recommend him.
Thank you very much for your nice review! It was a great pleasure for me showing you around. Best regards from Berlin Harald Zawuski
Harald provided a very knowledgeable and fun tour with a dash of light humor. We booked him for 3 hours and enjoyed his exceptional local history knowledge at Brandenburg Gate, The Berlin Wall, Hitlers Bunker and last resting place; Check Point Charlie and many more! I couldn’t recommend Harald anymore. He was truly exceptional! Thank you Harald for making our tour of East Berlin truly memorable! Matt Cant ( Cardiff, Wales)
Thank you very much for your great review. It was a big pleasure showing you Berlin. Best regards, Harald
We had a very exciting and impressive tour with Harald Zawuski. His knowledge of the history of the Wall was impressively detailed, illustrated with many before/after photos and at the same time wonderfully understandable. We particularly liked how he linked historical facts with personal stories, anecdotes and well-chosen background information. As a result, we got to know the city of Berlin in a completely different, deeper way. Despite the sometimes difficult subject matter, he managed to make the leadership varied, exciting and very sensitive. He responded to all our questions and adapted the tour to our pace and interests. We would recommend this tour and especially Mr. Zawuski without hesitation. An absolutely special experience that made our stay in Berlin unforgettable. Thank you for this impressive and personal tour!
Herzlichen Dank für Ihre ganz wunderbare und umfassende Bewertung. Es war mir eine große Freude Ihre Berlin-Reise bereichern zu können. Mit besten Grüßen, Harald
Peter was a very good tour guide with a formidable knowledge of Berlin during the 20th century. We can recommend the tour.
Harold was great, very knowledgeable, good sense of humour and a Berlin local. Can't ask for more. 5 stars.
Hello Christian, Thank you very much for your review. Hope you still had a great time on Berlin. All the best, Harald
Harald provided Doreen and i with a comprehensive explanation of the historical sites we visited. His broad knowledge gave us an excellent perspective of what has taken place in Berlin. His friendly nature made us feel very welcome. I have no hesitation in recommending Harald.
We thoroughly enjoyed Harald, our private guide for this tour. He integrated public memorials/historic displays as well his own collection of historic photographs to tell the story of Berlin's iconic monuments over the years. I found his photographs to be incredibly helpful to visualize former versions of the city and its buildings. My 17 yo son is a WWII buff and Harald engaged him in very intelligent and thoughtful conversations along our tour. Highly informative, professional and personable!
My husband and I contacted Harald based on our son's recommendation and we were very pleased! We met Harald at a pre-arranged site and walked and toured with him for 4 hours! The tour encompassed all of the major historical sites of the city from the perspective of a local. It was a great way to get an overview and yet left much for us to explore on our own the next day. We highly recommend Harald.
