O turismo em Atenas começa com a colina da Acrópole, que fará o seu dia. Na colina histórica, você terá a oportunidade de ver o Odeon de Herodes Atticus, o Templo da Athena Nike, o portal monumental (Propylaea), o Erechtheum e, claro, o famoso Parthenon, o principal templo dedicado à deusa virgem Atena .
O Propylaea é a entrada monumental para a área sagrada dedicada a Atena, a deusa padroeira da cidade. Construída pelo arquiteto Mnesicles com mármore pentélico, seu design foi vanguardista. O Odeon de Herodes Atticus é uma estrutura de teatro romano em pedra localizada na encosta sudoeste da Acrópole de Atenas, Grécia. O edifício foi concluído em 161 dC e renovado em 1950.
Ao entrar no recinto do museu, olhe através do piso de acrílico para ver as ruínas de um antigo bairro ateniense, que foram artisticamente incorporadas ao design do museu depois de serem descobertas durante as escavações. seus tesouros sobreviventes ainda em possessão grega. We only had one afternoon and evening in Athens- so we decided to focus our on the Acropolis museum followed by the Acropolis. Our guide's, Natalia, knowledge of Greek history and artifacts were exceptional- all while delivering it to us with much enthusiasm. Natalia was able to navigate the crowds and entry points without any waiting.

We had a great time visiting Athens with a local guide who walked us through Acropolis Museum, arthenon, Monastriaki and Plaka. Despite the cold weather, we enjoyed learning about the ancient Greek culture from our very knowledgeable guide.
