Participe de nossa excursão em terra para pequenos grupos saindo do porto de Katakolon em nosso veículo totalmente climatizado (microônibus ou ônibus) com ingressos sem fila incluídos. Dirija por 45 minutos de Katakolon até Olympia com comentários a bordo do seu guia. Ao chegar a Olympia, desfrute de uma visita guiada ao sítio arqueológico e ao museu com um guia turístico oficialmente licenciado que fala inglês. Depois, você terá tempo livre para explorar a moderna cidade de Olympia antes de retornar ao porto. Sempre garantimos que você retornará ao porto antes do horário de “todos a bordo”. O horário de início do passeio está sujeito ao horário de chegada do navio de cruzeiro. Se o navio, por exemplo, chegar às 09h00, o passeio começará às 09h30 em vez das 08h30.

No sítio arqueológico, entre vários outros vestígios de edifícios importantes, você verá o ginásio e a palaestra, o redondo Philipeion, a oficina de Fídias onde foi construída a estátua de ouro e marfim de Zeus, os templos de Zeus e Hera, o altar onde a tocha olímpica está sendo acesa nos tempos modernos e o antigo estádio olímpico.
No museu arqueológico estão alojados todos os achados que foram escavados no sítio arqueológico. Oferendas de bronze e argila (tripés e estatuetas), armaduras, vasos, ferramentas e taças da oficina de Fídias, o belíssimo Hermes de Praxiteles, o Nike de Paeonios e as impressionantes e muito bem preservadas estátuas clássicas dos frontões do templo de Zeus, etc.
Sua turnê continuará com uma vibração totalmente diferente. A moderna vila de Olympia está localizada ao lado do sítio arqueológico e do museu, onde você pode tomar uma bebida com os locais ou explorar a rua principal com suas muitas lojas onde você pode encontrar de tudo, desde joias e roupas até artes e artesanato para você e seus entes queridos!

We loved every minute of our tour! Our guide was informative and personable. She did an excellent job of avoiding the crowds whenever possible and gave us time to explore our surroundings in Olympia. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Wonderful adventure in Olympia. Zoe was just amazing…so knowledgeable and she added fun facts that gave the experience a nice twist. She was so professional and took great care with our group of 15. Exceptional museum and the ruins are amazing.

I loved this tour! We only had 11 people in our group and our guide was an archaeologist who was so informative about the entire site. We got there early and toured the museums first which really helped us understand the site before arriving. Our guide was fantastic and told us some stories of Greek mythology too!

Excellent tour of the archaeological sites and the museum. There is some shade at the site, but make sure you take a hat or umbrella and plenty of water as it gets very hot.

We were lucky enough to get Zoe as our guide. She’s a trained archeologist and knew an incredible amount of detail about the archeological site. The transportation was top notch and the tour ran right on schedule. Definitely take the lunch option if it’s offered. The food was authentic and very good.

Super tour to ancient Olympia with Niki Tours! Our guide, Zoe, was fantastic!!! She gave us background history during the drive. And she did a great job guiding us thru the ancient site. The stop at the olive oil press was fun - and very tasty. I highly recommend this tour - and Niki Tours in general!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide (I think Shelly was her name) was extremely knowledgeable and had a good understanding of archeology and the history of Greece. She organised our small group so that we did not get stuck with the masses of 40+ people bus tourists and we had a very relaxing time and back well in time for our ships departure. She also was independent and not pushing any agendas!

Our tour to Olympia and site of the original Olympic Games was unbelievable. Our tour guide Zoey was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through the various section of the site as well as through the museum. She gave a real sense of the Olympic spirit and her descriptions of the various works of art were fantastic. The tour ended with a wonderful and delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant which also included an OPA dance presentation. We truly felt immersed in the Olympic and Greek culture for a day. Kudos also to our bus driver who went out of his way to make our journey comfortable and minimize walking.
