Great experience...Anzi was excellent and made all the difference in our experience...the place was beautiful...

We chose this service because the maximum number of people in the excursion was 8. It is more expensive than the others, but here they do not take you to a cheese tasting/sale. This allows you to arrive early in Giethoorn and avoid traffic jams on the canals. 10:30 AM meeting in Amsterdam and departure in a comfortable, air-conditioned van. Anzi, our guide, explained many things to us during the hour-and-a-half trip. The commentary is in English, but Anzi spoke slowly so that we, who are not great at English, could follow along. Once we arrived, Anzi became the captain of a small boat that can go everywhere, unlike the large boats of other providers. At 12:00 PM, traffic is smooth on the canals and we decided to eat after the ride based on our guide's advice. We walked around after the meal and saw how the afternoon rides could be unpleasant for those who do not arrive early. Thank you, Anzi, for this advice which improved our experience. Around 4:30 PM / 5:00 PM, our guide was waiting for us with a bottle of cold water. A nice touch. I recommend it 100%. Anzi is very kind and available.

While tours are a great way to see a new area, I often find them to be exhausting. The large groups, the overload of information, the early meeting times, and the feeling of being on display as a "tourist." The presentation can also feel less personal and more like a script. Anzi's small group tour was nothing like this scenario and exactly what I was looking for on my visit to Giethoorn. A small group and a meeting time of 10:30 were the selling points for me. Pick up was easy, the ride in the van was very comfortable, and the open air boat ride along the canals was perfect since we arrived earlier than the larger tours. Anzi was a very attentive and knowledgeable guide who also spoke three languages throughout. He gave a great overview of Dutch culture and the history of Giethoorn and specific houses. He also gave helpful tips on navigating Amsterdam in general and suggestions on where to grab quick bites. The slow-paced tour felt like you were just hanging out with some new friends for the day. And everyone loves a friend with a boat. 😉 The tour was the perfect balance of guided and solo time. I returned to my hotel feeling relaxed rather than drained. Would definitely tour with Anzi again!

Wonderful experience in Giethoorn with Anzi. He knew all the great areas to explore and kept us away from the large crowds. Beautiful experience and strongly recommended this tour for nature and history lovers.

Truly enjoyable experience made even better by our driver cum guide Anzi who made the difference. The Giethoorn village is a wonderful place with it’s serene environment and the lovely boat ride really helped us explore the village well , appreciating it’s scenic beauty in a very natural setting.

The guide was very attentive and truly looked for the most pleasant spot for us to be. It was a very peaceful and enjoyable boat trip. We especially appreciated that it was a small group and that the tour started and finished exactly on time.

Strongly recommend this tour for people who want to visit Giethroon! Our tour guide Anzi is great, he knows Giethroon very well! We had a very enjoyable boat tour. The Giethroon is very beautiful. When we enjoyed our lunch after the boat tour, the big group tours arrived which makes the small town very busy and crowded.

大大大満足の１日でした！ ガイドのAnziさんはとても礼儀正しくてフレンドリーで、細かいところまで気を配ってくれているのが伝わりました。 船の時間を延ばしてくれて、たっぷり村の端から端まで、他の観光客が全くいない静かでキレイな所も見せてくれました。 すすんで私たちの写真を撮ってくれてとても嬉しかったです。 Anziさんのスマホでも私たちの写真を撮ってくれて、画質のいい写真を後日送ってくれました。 ヒートホールンの天気はコロコロ変わって、まるで数時間の間に一年を体験しているようで面白かったです。 Anziさんは大きい傘や防水ポンチョも準備していてくれました。 このツアーに参加しようと思っている方は、カッパはもちろん、防水ズボンもあると雨でも思いっ切り楽しめると思います。 とても空気が澄んでいて可愛らしい村をのんびり満喫できて、本当に最高の１日でした。 An absolutely fantastic day! Our guide, Anzi, was very polite and friendly. It was clear he paid attention to even the smallest details. He extended our boat trip, allowing us to explore the village thoroughly, showing us quiet and beautiful areas completely free of other tourists. We were so happy he took photos of us. He even took photos of us with his own phone and sent us high-quality pictures later. The weather in Giethoorn changed so quickly; it was fascinating, like experiencing a whole year in just a few hours. Anzi had prepared a large umbrellas and a waterproof ponchos. If you're planning this tour, I recommend bringing a raincoat and waterproof pants so you can fully enjoy the experience even in the rain. The air was so clear, and we were able to leisurely enjoy the charming village – it was truly a wonderful day.
