Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The experience was amazing, I highly recommend this tour. Krakow is a must see destination!
Very good tour, our tour guide jacek was very calm and polite, very accommodating, not rushed, in Krakov our tour guide Bruno was awesome, very relaxed, great person and it felt like we were just meeting with a real cool friend in his hometown and still very knowledgeable and professional at the same time. Great experience overall
It was a great trip. Kevin was very personable and friendly. Krakow and the salt mines were wonderful and well worth the trip.
Our expectations for this tour which cost us about $300 per person was that we would be driven by car from our hotel to a tour in Krakow from 1200 to 1400, then have lunch from 1400-1500, then tour the Salt Mine from 1600-1800, with a return back to the hotel in Warsaw. We were picked up at 0730 as expected, by a driver who was a very pleasant young man. However, he did not have good command of English, so he rarely spoke to us during the trip. Our next surprise was that he took us to the Salt Mine in the morning without informing us of the change in itinerary. After the Salt Mine he drove us to a nice restaurant for lunch in Krakow. We were surprised to learn that when ordering off the menu, the tour company paid the first $5 for lunch and we had to pay the rest of the bill. After lunch we went for a tour of Krakow. However, the tour company asked the guide not to show up until our tour could be combined with one from another car/bus. We waited for two hours in Krakow for the tour to start. The tour started at 1800. The first part of the tour was a visit to the Castle which closed at 1800. So they cut out that part of the tour. Because of the late start, we had to leave the tour for about 30 minutes in order to have a bathroom break and some dinner. So we missed another part of the tour. We finally arrived back at the Hotel in Warsaw at 2330. It was a very long and frustrating day.
Great tour of Cracow with knowledgeable guide Margarita and fabulous visit to salt mine. A must see if anywhere near the area! Driver Tomas very professional and had a beautiful and comfortable vehicle and took great care of us during drive. Will definitely travel with hem again.
Thank you so much for your great review. Our guides and drivers are highly professional and passionate about their job and they always take good care of our guests. We are delighted you appreciated their efforts and hope to hear from you again in the future.
Had a trip to Poland recently with the family. *Overall impression: Poland is pretty, clean and safe. I have the utmost respect for the Polish' resilience and progressive thinking considering it was only liberated in the early 90's. People are really warm, there's food everywhere and it's a very culturally enriching experience. I invite everyone to visit Poland. *Pros: I selected the guided tour. It gave me the peace of mind of not having to worry of planning the specifics of the transportation and places to visit. The tour guides and drivers provided a great depth of cultural appreciation. I could visit the places 10x and I wouldn't have had appreciated the beauty if I didn't know the history. *Cons: More on the pricey side; Considering the amount paid, it would have been better for the lunch and/or the dinner to be included in the package. Also, with the amount paid, a 4 star hotel could have been offered instead of the 3 star hotel.
Thank you for this lovely review and your kind words about Poland. We hope your opinion will encourage more people to visit our beautiful country.
Very beautiful halls and impressive how you could accomplish all this in advance. We also had a very knowledgeable guide. Many visitors so you probably have to book in advance.
We visit Krakow and the salt mines on a day trip from Warsaw, it is an important effort because the car journey takes much longer than desirable, the condition of the roads and traffic makes it necessary to invest, in our case, almost six hours until we start the tour of Krakow and almost five hours back. Except for this “detail”, if you are in Warsaw you cannot miss the opportunity to visit Krakow and the salt mines, during the trip you take the opportunity to know the history and culture of Poland which, beyond figures and seeing “things” is immensely enriching. The salt mines are absolutely amazing, our guide Jacinto really strived to give us a good summary of the story and convey everything possible. The recommendation is perhaps to stay overnight in Krakow or use the train (schedule was not possible in our case, but worth the effort as I say)
Excellent option for those who have little time available to know a little more of Poland. They were good professionals, friendly and met the schedules. Good choice!

This tour means a long day. Which we were prepared for. Our driver was great! He spoke English and gave us a good overview of some of Polands history. Loved the Salt Mines. A must see if you can. The down side was the city guide for Krakow. He spoke English only on what he knew to tell us about Krakow but not good enough to answer our questions. Also his knowledge of history was lacking. It was a waste of our time. We do lots of city tours and this was one of the worst. The problem is these trips, and they are not cheap when you go in a small group, are only as good as the guides. The drive is about 41/2 hours each way plus the time spent on activities amounts to about 15 hours. Not sure I would recommend. I think you could take the train and do this on your own.
