This was a fabulous tour. Learned a lot about the history, architecture and artwork of the peninsula. Jennifer made it great fun! And the gelato break was a fabulous treat! I highly recommend touring with her!
Thank you so much for the recommendation - it's really appreciated! Coronado really does have a lot to offer beyond the Hotel del. And the gelato doesn't hurt either! Hope to see you back sometime!
This tour featured interesting architecture, historical anecdotes, and the best of Coronado all in an entertaining and well-paced experience. We even stopped along the way for gelato! Jennifer knows a lot about the rich history of the area and was also very attentive to those of us on the tour. Would highly recommend.
Coronado has such a great mix of architecture and history and interesting characters and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. And the gelato doesn't hurt either! Thanks so much for the recommendation and hope to see you the next time you're in San Diego!
Jennifer was very accommodating and tailored the trip to our needs. We were lucky for a private tour and she adjusted things for us well while giving us a great Coronado history tour.
Thank you so much! Always happy to shape a tour around what guests want/need when possible. Keeps me on my toes! :-) Glad you enjoyed Coronado and hope you'll be back again soon!
Jennifer is a great, knowledgeable guide and took the time to provide us with a rich historical perspective of Coronado island.
Coronado has a rich history and I enjoyed sharing it and exploring the island with you two. Thanks for much for joining me and the shout out here!
We felt lucky to have Jennifer to ourselves on our Coronado tour. Her knowledge of the peninsula in terms of culture, history, food, and changing environment was endless. We gained tidbits of knowledge that we never would have read in a book. And the Gelato was fabulous!😀 My husband and I enjoyed our walking tour immensely; it was a highlight of our trip.
Ahhhh.... this made my day! Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm delighted this was a highlight of your trip as I really enjoyed our chat and showing you around the island that isn't an island. And yes that gelato is yummy! I hope to see you both back in San Diego sometime soon!
Jennifer was knowledgeable, funny, and very kind for our party of two. The tour includes a gelato stop which is not only delicious but a great rest time. We enjoyed seeing the sights of Coronado that were off the beaten path. Great way to experience the island (not an island) by foot!
Thank you so much for the shout out and so glad you enjoyed the tour! It was a fun afternoon and yes, the gelato stop is always a highlight. Happy you enjoyed the "off the beaten path" spots as I think they are the best part of the island that's not an island. :-) Thanks again for joining me and hope you'll be back sometime!
This was a great experience for our annual girls trip. Jennifer was a fantastic guide (quite funny too) as she showed us around the Coronado peninsula. Very knowledgeable. As a group of 10 we booked a private tour - still very affordable. Be prepared for a lot of walking - but well worth it. There's also a great gelato break! Really got the insiders point of view about Coronado!
Thanks for the kind words! You all were such a fun group and I really enjoyed showing you around Coronado! It is a bit of walking, but that's why we have a well placed - and delicious - gelato break in the middle. Thanks again for the shout out and hope to see you if your group comes this way again!
