A truly entertaining and excellent tour that brought the past back to life! Eleanor was a first-class guide, who presented her content in a memorable and exciting way. Her story - telling skills were first rate, and the tales she told, were related enthusiastically and in great detail. It was a thoroughly interesting tour, told in an exciting and intriguing way. Well done, Eleanor! We enjoyed the tour immensely!
Interesting and informative piece of Oxford history Learned about locations in Oxford while hearing interesting stories of ghosts
Chose this tour as it ran on a weekday, allowed younger kids and didn’t start too late. Really glad we did. Eleanor was personable and engaging and really brought the gruesome stories to life with a bit of historical trivia along the way too. Kept 2 children ( and adult) fully entertained.
We were fortunate enough to have Kate as our tour guide. She arrived early to check everyone in and the tour started on time. We were given clear instructions on where to meet. The tour was full of incredible ghost stories and historical anecdotes. We learned of famous authors dubious bars and plenty of spooky stories. Walking through the streets of Oxford is an amazing historical event. Kate's guidance and lively stories kept us engaged for the entire tour. Thank you for a lovely introduction to Oxford!
Tour guide was prompt to start and enthusiastic all the way through with great knowledge of the area and brilliant story teller
This is a very good ghost walk that blends the history of Oxford with thought- provoking tales. Simon knows Oxford very well.
Our guide Eleanor was fascinatingly morbid with accounts of the various forms of death that was inflicted on past residents of Oxford!
