We had a great time with Dennis and really enjoyed his personalized tour of TST/Mong Kok. We were brand new to Hong Kong (this was actually our first day) and it was really nice to get a chance to dig into the city and help get our bearings around where we were staying to make it less intimidating for the rest of our time there. He shared some of his favorite eateries (including a Michelin starred noodle shop) and helped us order and get a taste for some of the local cuisine, which we for sure would not have found on our own. We was kind enough to pick us up at our hotel and ended the tour allowing us to get some great views and pictures at the promenade at dusk. Highly recommended for anyone else who is wanting to dip their toes into HK and at the same time get to try some great food!

We did this food tour our first night in Hong Kong. Benny was an excellent guide, spoke perfect English and was a lot of fun. We got to experience a different part of Hong Kong and eat like the locals. Food was yummy and very filling. Great way to really experience Kowloon.

Regene, our tour guide, was wonderful! She asked us what we wanted to see and scheduled the tour around our interests. When we asked to see something different than the towering skyscrapers that define Hong Kong, Regene took us to a Buddist temple, Chi Lin Nunnery and it's garden. Serenity in the heart of the city. So happy not to have missed this gem. Thanks to Regene, we got to experience an iconic Hong Kong ritual, Villain Hitting. Incense and drama, and a lot of fun. Our guide, Kiyo, was very tentative and engaging. He reached out to us as soon as we made the reservation. Despite the inconvenience, he met us at our hotel. We really enjoyed listening to the history of Hong Kong as well visiting restaurants that locals go to. We had an amazing time during our first night in Hong Kong.

Dennis is a friendly and knowledgeable guide. He communicated quickly and his English is very good. We didn’t research enough in advance to make specific requests of what to see and visit. Our tour was in the late afternoon and it was a food tasting tour of sorts. We walked around the Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei neighborhoods but didn’t visit any historical sites. It was interesting to see the local shops. I recommend being specific about what you want to see in the tour as Dennis offers a few different tours depending on your interests.

The city walk from Mong Kok to Yau Ma Tei included cultural explanations, architectural tours, introduction and tasting of local traditional snacks and popular foods. This is definitely the tour worth traveling. Victor was a great host and tour guide. He was very knowledgeable with every area we visited in regards to the history and statistics of Hong Kong’s history and living populace. We appreciate he was able accommodate to our schedule after we arrived late due to our plane. He was able to create an itinerary that suited my roommate and myself that showcased lots of local foods, views, and great pubs that most tourists wouldn’t get the chance to see. He also provided recommendations where to visit for our following day. I would highly recommend Victor again and again
Ben did a great job. He took us into places we would never have gotten as a regular tourist. Hong Kong has a huge underground world which connects everything. This included street shopping which was amazing. We ate in a small Korean restaurant which was fantastic. His energy was amazing and he worked with us to get whatever we wanted. I strongly suggest this as a way to find things and places you would never find otherwise as well as to get an honest personal view of life in Hong Kong. Very good.
