Excursão Monte Bromo e Madakaripura e Tumpak Sewu (3D2N) - Hotel

Hamim was very accommodating to us. He brought us to spots where not many tourists are around so we can take bomb ahh pics.
Words can’t express how satisfied I am with Arya’s (our driver and guide) hospitality and support during our Surabaya trip. Although he is a quiet person, he answered every question we had, was always helpful, took great care of us, and made our journey safe and comfortable. Definitely looking forward to coming back again!
Big thanks to Rama our guide for the awesome experience. It’s really a trip that I’ll recommend to friends and family. We really enjoyed this trip thoroughly!!
I recently took part in a 3-day, 2-night Mount Bromo, Tumpak Cewu & Madakaripura tour, and overall, it was a memorable experience. First, the positive: the tour guide (Dodik) was exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, he made the trip great from start to finish. He was attentive to our needs, ensuring that we were comfortable and well-informed at all times. I would rate the guide a solid 10/10—truly a highlight of the journey. As for the tour itself, the destinations, including Mount Bromo and Tumpak Cewu, were breathtaking. Mount Bromo’s sunrise & Sea of Sand is a must-see, and Tumpak Cewu’s waterfall is a stunning natural wonder. The local homestays were simple yet comfortable, providing a nice, authentic experience with the community. However, I do have some reservations about the pricing. At SGD259 ($239 off-peak) per person, I felt the cost was on the steep side. While the tour included two nights at local homestays and a knowledgeable driver/guide, the price did not cover entrance fees to the tourist spots, which added up. It’s understandable that fees for park entrances and services are necessary to support the local economy, but when combined with the tour cost, it felt like a bit much. I believe the tour could be better priced, considering the cost of accommodations and transport are not as high as the price point suggests. With the entrance fees added on top, the overall cost may feel disproportionate to the value provided. A review of the pricing structure could go a long way to making the experience feel more balanced. Nonetheless, if you’re looking for a well-guided adventure to two incredible locations, this tour is a solid choice, but be prepared for the cost.
overall a very pleasant experience ! although view wasnt as expected ( due to weather ) it was still enjoyable and vibes were immaculate ! shoutout to our tourguide , ronny ! made us feel comfortable and showed us interesting and cool places ! very grateful that he was very friendly and approachable ! would recommend all to go ! a unqiue experience that i would surely do again !!
Big shoutout to our guide Arya who was able to converse in Bahasa as well as tip top English. A very safe driver taking us from point to point. Also to another guide Fendi at Tumpak who took amazing photos and and even compiled us a minute video.. impressive with his editing skills :) Cooling weather at Bromo with a nice view of sunrise at the peak. Especially enjoyed the horse ride at the bottom of crater. Only missed out on the Madakaripura Waterfall as it was closed due to flood. Overall great experience with Tour Mount Bromo! Two thumbs up!
We had Yohanes as our guide and driver, whom we communicated well via Whatsapp. He was patient and a careful and skilled driver. He explained his rationale of doing things (e.g. why we have to depart for Mt Bromo earlier to get a good seat). My child was carsick and he drove very slowly and gently so that she will not throw up. He also lent her his blanket while waiting for sunrise so that she could be kept warm. He was also open to any change in itinerary and always had a smile for us. When requested, he brought us to the different shops and suggested what we could buy to bring home. The places that he brought us for lunch and dinner are nice too. We had a great time with him and he is like a friend. We also have good arrangements with Mt Bromo office who patiently handled my queries and requests. Have been recommending both the agency and Yohanes to my friends since I came back.
Our driver Kusumo was great! Always polite and accommodating. The waterfalls and Mount Brom are worth going. Views were wonderful!
Trip is supposed to be mt bromo n mt ijen, but due to the situation at ijen, I ended up at tumpak sewu. I was kinda not happy with the change because I really wanted to visit mt ijen again. But mother nature has their own plans n who am I to challenge them🤣. But after going up n down the stairs of tumpak sewu, I have to respect the different challenges it gave me. I have the honor of meeting Kechengk as my driver. 1 of the safest drivers in indonesia. After comparing the drivers that I've got in bali n bandung😂. Till we meet again mt ijen.
