Excursão Masada e Mar Morto

My daughter and I recently joined a tour with Bein Harim, and unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to the behavior of our tour guide, Avi. We joined the tour to enjoy the experience and learn about the places we were visiting. However, Avi spoke to us in front of the group in a way that felt disrespectful and condescending. We were not being disruptive or trying to interfere with the tour—we were simply speaking quietly to each other from time to time. Afterward, I spoke with Avi privately and explained how uncomfortable and embarrassed his comments had made us feel. What disappointed me most was that he did not seem to recognize that the way he spoke to us was inappropriate. Instead of acknowledging our concerns, he appeared to believe his behavior was acceptable. I understand that tour guides have an important job and must keep tours organized, and I fully respect that. However, guests should be treated with courtesy and respect. Paying customers should never be made to feel like children or be publicly reprimanded for normal behavior. A tour guide can make or break an experience. Unfortunately, Avi’s attitude made us feel unwelcome rather than comfortable and engaged. I hope Bein Harim takes this feedback seriously and ensures that future guests are treated with greater professionalism and respect. Libby

We had a phenomenal experience with Enrique. He was so attentive and made the experience so special and his knowledge added so much, he assisted my mom with such dignity and care.

We did a private tour with Enrique through Compass Travel Israel and it was the best thing we did our whole trip. From our 8am pick up, to our 6pm drop off, Enrique educated us about the rich history of Israel. The manner in which he passed on his knowledge of religion and history with such warmth and humor made the tour exciting from start to finish. He captivated you into the stories of the bible, Jesus, king Herod, the Roman Empire, Sicarii, amongst many others. The way in which he told us these histories made you feel like you were experiencing history as you walked amongst the ruins of it. Even for people who aren’t as interested in history, you will feel enthralled by the way he paints pictures of these events. We were so impacted by our experience in the most positive of ways. By the end of the trip he truly felt like family. We can’t stop telling people about it.

I had an amazing experience at the Dead Sea and Masada tour, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide, Enrique. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much fascinating history throughout the entire trip you could tell he genuinely loves what he does and knows the subject inside and out. Enrique was extremely kind, welcoming, and friendly from start to finish. He made everyone feel comfortable and taken care of, and his hospitality really stood out. The whole experience felt organized, fun, and personal because of him. If you’re thinking about doing a Dead Sea and Masada tour, I highly recommend it and if you get Enrique as your guide, you’re in great hands.

Everything was amazing in this tour! The guide took all the time to explain to us everything we were seeing, and answered all of our questions. She was more than patient with us at the dead sea, and made it all unforgettable. She truly spoke from experience and transmitted the love she has for this beautiful country

Our family had the most wonderful experience visiting Masada, Ein Gedi and The Dead Sea. Dvir, our tour guide for the day, was knowledgeable, accommodating and made us feel as if he was enjoying the time as much as us. Nothing was too much for him and we would certainly use him and your company again for another tour. In fact, I have passed your number to my father-in-law who lives in Israel for his future expeditions. Dvir also gave great Humus recommendations. Thanks for a great day!
