We had a Fantastic time with Journey to Egypt, and highly recommend them. The company is very easy to deal with and provide a safe, clean, great service. The vehicles are modern, air conditioned and well maintained. Cold towels and waterThe guides are knowledgeable and take you where you want to go and not a predetermined tour. There is no following a flag or going to see local carpet or handicraft shop for a hard sell. I did quite a bit of research beforehand and can honestly say i was delighted with my choice. From picking us up at Cairo airport (pre immigration) to dropping us off at Luxor airport their service was faultless. There was a little intrepidation paying before hand, however they are a very professional honorable company.

Amazing trip, too much to cover, exquisite sites and much History that is really overwelming for me as an archaeoligist ! I i couldnt have done it properly without my lovely, kind, and patient tour guide JOHN who is so much fun to be with..thank you John for bearing my loads of questions and my side explanations 😆. We booked a whistle-stop tour of Luxor through Osama. The communication was very good. On the morning of our trip we were met at our hotel by our guide John and our driver who stayed with us for the day. John was an absolutely fantastic guide. He had a fantastic knowledge of Luxor and Egyptian history in general. He was happy to answer any questions and was very engaged with us throughout the tour. Furthermore, his English was really, really good (we heard other guides throughout the day delivering tours in quite broken English). What was also pleasantly surprising was the level of service. The car was really nice and snacks and drinks were provided. All the tickets had been pre-purchased so there was no queuing. The tour also included a nice meal at lunchtime (to save time in the car a boat direct to the restaurant on the East bank had already been pre-arranged). All in all the tour was really good and John was really impressive.

Outstanding! We spent 3 days with George. We were impressed with his knowledge, thoroughness and friendliness! He went above and beyond to arrange any special travel needs. We would highly recommend the company - and ask for George to be your guide.

We went on the tour with our guide Tamar and it was amazing! We were able to see all important cultural sites and had a very nice lunch on a rooftop with typical Egyptian food and a Nile view. Tamar is a very knowledgeable guide, he pointed out many details and interesting facts and even gave us tips for our further journey. Everything went smoothly from pick-up to drop-off and we had enough time to explore every place. We were provided with water during tour and Tamar made all our requests possible. We would highly recommend this tour if you want to see everything in one day in a comfortable and fun way. Definitely start early in the morning, as the sites are not crowded and it is less hot.

We had a great time visiting the Valley of the kings, Karnak and Luxor temple with Tamer. He speaks perfect English. He showed us around, avoided us going into unnecessary areas (so easily done if you don’t know the sites) and we took the time we wanted. He shared with us lots of information and at our pace. We highly recommend Tamer and Journey to Egypt tours.

My entire experience in Luxor, start to finish, was exceptional and I have Journey to Egypt to thank for that. They came highly recommended by a friend, and now I completely understand why. He made all of the information—which is A LOT when you’re in Egypt—interesting and accessible. He offered the perfect ratio of guided time to free time at the sites, and excelled at tailoring each experience to my specific interests and preferences. I felt relaxed and in the very best of hands. The organization, communication, and willingness to go the extra mile for me as a client made my experience with Journey to Egypt truly superior to any tour experiences I have ever had.

First I want to say that the company was very accommodating! We booked the tour at the last minute and they found a way to make it work for us over 2 days instead of 1! For $120 USD each, the 2 of us had a private tour with a personal car and guide! This included admission tickets and lunch/water on the second day. Moreover, Safwat arranged our Hot Air Ballon Tour for Sunday morning! The operator was very thorough in their communication via phone and WhatsApp and provided easy options to pay online! As a History Teacher my standards for guides are very high and SAFWAT did not disappoint (request him)!! He was extremely knowledgeable, and taught me several things about the Temples and Egyptian Mythology that I did not know before! His English was great , and his style of explanation and storytelling was suitable for armchair historians and novices alike! We had a great time exploring the East and West banks! Highlights were Karnak, Luxor by Night and Hatshepsut’s Temple! He even added a bonus trip to Banana Island for birding and a tasty local lunch!

My experience of East and West bank tours were great. My guide Safwat Gayed was excellent. Safwat was knowledgeable and an exceptional expert. I enjoyed the valley of kings and avenue of sphinx. Safwat also took us to eat at Aladins rest. and a tour to banana island.
