Começando com o ônibus kunanyi / Mt Wellington Explorer, você viajará 1270 metros acima do nível do mar, desfrutará de vistas espetaculares sobre Hobart e além. A viagem de volta de 2 horas inclui 30 minutos para explorar o cume do kunanyi / Mount Wellington. Se você está procurando um pouco mais de aventura, também tem a opção de subir e descer em vários pontos de ônibus, onde você encontrará uma grande variedade de trilhas para caminhadas. Excursão kunanyi / Mt Wellington: desembarque opcional na parada de ônibus do Fern Tree Park. • Uma área gramada abrigada com banheiros, áreas para piquenique, churrasqueiras a lenha e equipamento infantil. O ponto de partida para passeios sombreados através de ravinas de samambaia e ao lado de riachos borbulhantes. • Pegue a trilha do oleoduto até Silver Falls (retorno de 40 minutos), que segue a rota do oleoduto que fornece parte da água de Hobart. Uma caminhada curta e fácil, também adequada para bicicletas de montanha. • Visite a Fern Tree Tavern para almoçar, tomar café e bolo ou tomar uma bebida refrescante. Aberto de terça a domingo.
Excursão kunanyi / Mt Wellington: desembarque opcional na parada de ônibus The Springs. • Uma área de piquenique nivelada com banheiros, mesas de piquenique, churrasqueiras a gás e o ponto de partida para uma variedade de trilhas para caminhada e trilhas de mountain bike no sopé oriental de kunanyi / Mt Wellington. • Pegue a trilha do vale de Lenah até Sphinx Rock (retorno de 45 minutos), excelentes vistas dos tubos de órgãos acima e Hobart e do rio Derwent abaixo. Uma caminhada difícil que segue o contorno da montanha ao redor da base das colunas de dolerita de 120 metros de altura dos Tubos de Órgãos até o Chalé. Os escaladores às vezes são vistos em ação. Vistas espetaculares. Caminhe morro acima em trilhas bem marcadas, de The Springs a The Chalet, ou descendo de The Chalet a The Springs (1,5 horas só de ida).

Awesome!! David and Tony were great, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I was provided with a map before I left to go hiking, and the second bus was timed perfectly for me to do the Sphinx Rock loop. Would definitely recommend, especially in good weather.

This experience was so easy. Jumped on the bus in town, the driver was lovely, and I felt safe with him driving up the mountain. We had blue, clear skies and no wind. Glad we did the 9.30 am trip, as when we left the top of Mt Wellington, the weather changed, and cloud cover came over, and the temperature dropped to 8 degrees. So our timing was great. There was enough time to walk down to the viewpoints and take photos as well. Well worth the trip if you are thinking about it.

One of those days where you couldn't see a thing from the top of kunanyi (cloud and drizzle all around), but still amazing. Come for the scenery, stay for the solitude.

Tony was the most knowledgeable guide I've experienced in Tassie...he even knew where to find the snakes in our journey. Lots of good "dad" jokes and plenty of historical photos to make it fun & educational too!

Tony was our driver and guide. He was terrific. He explained many sights along the way. We made various stops along the way, giving us the opportunity to see all that was available along the way. He made suggestions for places to eat when we arrived back in Hobart. And gave us the name of a wonderful chocolate store. Tony is an asset to the company!

Unfortunately the view from Mt Wellington on the day we were in Hobart was nonexistent. Cool, rainy and bleak. However the trip was made memorable by Tony’s fun and informative patter. A great guy. You will pick up more dad jokes than you will be able to carry. The hop on hop off bus was pretty typical. Comfortable seats, audible recorded commentary. A good way to get an overview of Hobart. With routes only every hour you will want to be sure that the area or areas in which you depart the bus will have enough to do and see to occupy you for an hour.

Excellent way for me to sightsee the peak of Mt Wellington/kunanyi without needing a car, and then also go hiking, meeting the bus later in the day to return to the city. Booking was easy, communications good. Bus clean and comfortable. Both driver/guides helpful, informative & friendly. Special shout out to Fiona in Operations who went above and beyond to help me with some lost property - much appreciated!
