Was given incorrect pick up instructions so we could not get to location. Cost me 2 Ubers and a taxi. Will not use Victor or these guys again. Justice tours on cruise ship and pay extra so you don’t get jacked around
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to read your review, especially when we tried to do everything to pick you up. We set the meeting point just outside the port, which was 2 minutes walking distance from where the ships are docked. We sent you a pin from Google Maps with the exact directions. Our driver was waiting for you, and we were in constant touch with you. We spoke multiple times over the phone. We tried to help you find the driver, but then you informed us that you had taken a shuttle to the city center. It would have taken 30 minutes for the driver to get back to the city from the Port. We had other clients on board, and the guide in the Museum scheduled for a specific hour. Going back to the city center would cause a massive delay and miss the guide. Considering that the driver was waiting at the port and we did everything we could to assist you, we are disappointed that the review does not present an accurate account of the situation. Regards, Zuzanna MrShuttle
driver Simon and tour guide Mark we both knowledgeable and pleasant. they obviously are very passionate about their country and its history.
I had not heard of Stuthoff prior to visiting Gdansk. It is a really important part of history. Seeing the site covered in snow was also really impactful, as it showed what the camp might have been like in winter and just how hard life must have been. We had a guide who spoke fair English and told many stories. It can seem a little rushed if you are trying to read the text on the displays, but it was manageable. The drivers were prompt, picking us up at both ends, and the drive from the hotel to the camp goes through really pretty countryside. For a really impactful visit, make sure to leave time to visit the WWII museum in Gdansk after visiting Stutthof.
Pick up was very early - 7.45 am but worked out extremely well as got there early and ahead of the crowds. Had a very friendly knowledgeable driver. Tour guide Dr. Wolfgang was excellent - very passionate and informative. Ready to answer all questions. Tour not rushed and there was plenty of time to take photos. Bit expensive at the time of booking but well worth it. Highly recommend.
Both guide and driver were excellent. The whole experience was hugely informative. Stutthof itself is very tastefully done and I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit
I highly recommend this tour even though it deals with a difficult time period and subject matter. Without looking at the good and bad of history we are doomed to repeat it. Book the tour, learn the history and walk the grounds.
Highly recommend this trip… obviously harrowing but very interesting and important to remember the history. Great service from Mr Shuttle. I was picked up from my hotel at exactly the time specified and our driver Simon was really interesting and informative throughout the journey.
Picked up from hotel at the correct time.simon our driver gave us loads of information. Thomas was our tour guide,a very humble man, full of knowledge, a very sad story of the history of Poland,,but one that definitely needs to be told.thank you to Simon and tomas for a really good trip
This tour is a must do. We were picked up at our hotel, the driver was friendly and knowledgeable about ancient history of the area. The tour guide at the camp spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. The tour took 2 hrs in heavy snow. There is a lot of walking. I would personally have liked more time to go back and revisit some spots to read and look at exhibits but our minibus was waiting at the end.
This was an excellent trip. We were picked up at front door of our hotel. Our driver Christopher spoke excellent English and chatted on the 50min drive, telling us ancient history of the area we were passing through and pointing out places of interest. We arrived at the camp and were introduced to our guide Tomas. The tour took 2hrs. Again his English was excellent and he was very knowledgeable. It was a lot of walking in heavy snow. We ended up back at the minibus to go home. I personally felt 2 hrs was enough for the tour but would have appreciated extra time to go back to spend more time alone to read and look at exhibits without the guide. We were left back to the door of our hotel.
