Imponentes portões de tijolos vermelhos de 15 metros de altura remanescentes dos séculos 14 a 15. Aqui, vamos levá-lo a olhar mais de perto e explorar a estrutura deste local que faz com que os historiadores o descrevam como um portão e não como um templo.
Uma vez que se acreditava ser o crematório do rei falecido, este templo de tijolos vermelhos foi construído antes mesmo de Majapahit existir. Como o nome sugere, este lugar é sagrado e ainda é usado durante o período Majapahit. É por isso que o traremos aqui para explorar por que a teoria de que este lugar é o crematório era quase toda falsa.

Ryan was waiting for us as we exited the cruise terminal. He was such a wonderful driver and guide, funny, knowledgeable, and willing to adapt to anything we wanted to do. His spoke excellent English which made our trip even more enjoyable. From pick up to drop off the trip went very smoothly. Expert driving through the traffic, even finding a rat run to avoid a bad jam caused by a broken down lorry. The religious sites and museums were beautiful and close together. The guide was humorous with excellent English ,with a depth of knowledge of the various religions.

We had a fantastic half day tour with Ryan. He was on time and easy to find at port. We went to 4 different Candi temples which were very nice. Highlight was meeting a large group of school children at one of them. Highly recommended Ryan.

We really enjoyed this tour of sites from the Majahapit Empire. Our guide Fajar and driver Rudy picked us up on time from the cruise terminal. Fajar was friendly, knowledgeable, and his English was excellent. He gave us a detailed explanation of each site and was able to answer all of our questions. The sites we visited were all beautifully manicured and well-maintained. Our driver Rudy was a good driver and got us back to the port in plenty of time.

Our driver/guide, Nael, was punctual and knowledgeable and provided a wealth of fascinating information—not only about the tour locations but also about Indonesia’s culture, customs, and traditions. This tour was a great introduction to the ancient history of Indonesia. Visiting the archeological ruins provided a foundation for understanding the evolution of architecture styles in the various regions of the country. Ryan was an outstanding guide and teacher. He was very conscientious in making sure we were comfortable and was able to answer all questions. He was especially helpful for my friend who has some mobility issues.
