Este passeio é assustadoramente emocionante, histórico, realisticamente sutil de uma forma que a vida hoje não pode capturar. Itinerário
Começamos nossa jornada do passado no Bunk 'Art Museum com uma imersão completa na história albanesa dos últimos 100 anos. O ex-bunker nuclear, construído para acomodar o Ditador Comunista Hoxha em caso de ataque, conta-nos a história do tempo do ditador e das duas últimas Guerras Mundiais através de fotografias, itens e documentos.
Depois de sairmos do Bunk’ Art, seguimos para o “qofte” (almôndegas), molho de iogurte, batatas fritas e cerveja local, comida de rua típica de Tirana!
Caminhe em direção à Praça Skanderbeg e aprenda sobre o edifício histórico, como a Mesquita Et'hem Bey, a Torre do Relógio, que circunda a praça principal de Tirana.
Caminharemos pela área de Blloku, onde descobriremos a casa de Enver Hoxha e outros membros seniores de seu regime. Faremos uma parada no memorial Post Blloku, que homenageia ex-presos políticos, em uma área antes proibida de entrar.
Contemple a pirâmide, o antigo “Museu Enver Hoxha”. Suas paredes de mármore branco estão agora em ruínas e cheias de grafite. Descubra a sua história com o nosso Tour Director local.
Passe pela Praça Madre Teresa na parte sul da avenida principal
Entre na National Gallery of Arts para ver muitas obras de arte realista socialista. Imagens poderosas dão uma ideia de como a arte “realista” foi usada para criar propaganda.***(se disponível para visita)
Termine seu passeio comemorando com uma pausa para o café no Komiteti – Museu Kafe para um pouco de raki, doces comunistas e talvez um pouco de café também.

The tour gave an insight into life before, during and after Communism, also showed architecture from the different eras. The lunch was excellent, fresh and tasty also there was plenty! My guide, Edi, was very knowledgeable, friendly and spoke excellent English. I rate this as a good value tour well worth undertaking.
Extremely informative, friendly and interesting guide, very thorough tour but we felt relaxed and free to ask as many questions as we liked. We never felt rushed. It is a great way to include Bunk'art 1 in a tour as it is out of town. It is better than Bunk'art 2 and our guide Ditmir gave us a lot of information we would not have had if we had gone alone. Good food as well! We very much enjoyed ourselves and think the tour is good value to see many of the main sites of Tirana in a thorough and efficient way. This meant we had more time to relax for the remainder of our stay. Thank you Ditmir!

We had an amazing time with Ditmir as our guide. He was fascinating to listen to, had many personal, family stories to talk about as we walked around Tirana and discussed communism in Albania. He also personalized the tour for us so we were able to take the cable car up the mountain, and visit Bunk’Art. He adjusted the tour pace for things we were more interested in, answered a million questions openly and honestly. We had some traditional food, drinks, and coffee along the way as well. It was great the tour was all-inclusive as well, unlike many tour companies the we never had to pay for anything offered during the day. We also had a driver to get us to the cable car, and thankfully we did since driving in Tirana can be a nightmare. Highly recommend Ditmir and Good Albania.

Full day with transport, admission tickets, lunch, afternoon raki stop all included so good value. Our guide was a very nice chap who grew up in Communist times so it was interesting to get his persepctive on what it was like to live in those times. He was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend the day with. Tirana is a great city with a fascinating history. Having a personal tour guide is the best way to learn about it. Worth the investment.
We learned a lot about the communist history of Albania and the food was excellent as well. This was a fantastic deal for the price.
