Thank you Matt for helping us to understand the area a little better. Your passion for boat life shows. The areas of Daufuskie you recommended we fun to explore. Bloody Point Lighthouse/Musuem(cold, cold beverage and fun, local purchases. Melrose Plantation- interesting history of the resort. Wildlife in abundance-Grand Egrets(pretty sure), deer, raccoons, rabbits. Haig public boat launch. We just kept driving around on the golf cart. Yes, we got lost but it was fun to see how the few locals live. So glad we went. Got to see dolphins and prescribed burn on Bull Island, Harbor Town on way back. Matt is knowledgeable and nice. Well done to the Captain too. Great day.
Great location. Easy parking. Sweet guide (Thanks Riley!) Saw cool wildlife — egrets, dolphins, herons, and pelicans. They need to upgrade their paddle boards, though. Mine had a small chunk off the top and was missing its leash. Get new ones with bungee cords. And consider smaller life jackets. But overall, great hour on the water.
Great tour and great guides. We saw a bunch of dolphins and the water was amay.
Always a bonus when you can paddle with a dolphin! And in warmer weather than Cleveland, OH. Located on an amazing and peaceful side of the island. I strongly recommend Island Head for the experience, convenience and the price! I WILL be back.
Just finished a 2nd paddle board tour with Island tours of Hilton Head and it was just as fun as it was the first time. Great service, awesome water, great location, easy parking and amazing employees. A definite must do while you're visiting Hilton Head Island.
I was very disappointed in this experience. Our guide was over 30 minutes late, and then either complained or didn't talk to us at all (and we were the only ones on the tour. There was no "guiding" and he clearly didn't want to be out. We also returned 15 minutes early! The location was not as nice as other areas of the island. The only saving grace was that we saw some dolphins. But even that didn't seem to impress our grumpy guide who just shrugged and said they were common. There are plenty of other boat rental opportunities on the island to try. I would avoid this one. Incredibly overpriced for the experience.

Will was great! It ended up being a small tour with only myself and my boyfriend. He was very knowledgeable and we had an awesome time.
My kids (13 and 16) and myself had a wonderful experience. It was our first paddle board experience and our guide Will was great with nerves and direction. He was knowledgeable about the area and invested in giving us a positive tour. We got to see dolphins and we’re surrounded by a pod. Amazing!
My two daughters, their friend, and I went paddle boarding in June and enjoyed it so much! Our guide was Rachael and she was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful and patient with us!! We learned so much about Hilton Head from talking with her! Five stars!✨✨✨✨✨
Our guide was really nice. Bad wind and tide made it very hard to stand up and paddle. We got to a creek very shallow, lots of pluff mud and oyster beds. Board wear old and both kids (14&12) ended up getting rash from the plastic/fiberglass chipping off.
