Many of the roads were shut down in DC FOR the July 4th festivities. But I was not made aware of this when I booked. The man that drove us was so nice. And was very informative despite us not being able to see many of the cites.
Great tour with lots of information about the sites. Comfortable ride in the open air carts with great visibility of the historic buildings and monuments.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad you enjoyed the tour and found it both informative and comfortable. It's great to hear that the open-air cart provided excellent views of the historic buildings and monuments while allowing you to fully experience the sights of Washington, DC. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back for another tour soon! 😊
Derrick (sp?) was an outstanding guide. He worked very hard to get us access to the best sites though fences were up everywhere. D made it happen!!
Thank you for the fantastic review! We're thrilled to hear that Derek provided such an outstanding experience. Despite the challenges posed by the fencing and access restrictions, we're glad he worked hard to ensure you still had the opportunity to see the best sites. We'll be sure to share your kind words with him. Thank you for touring with us! 😊

We never got to experience this ride. Too many passengers too few cars. Offered to switch nights for a discount so other riders didn’t have to be overloaded in the cars. Told we could move nights and get a discount. Main office called to try and help us reschedule, told us the 8:00pm was overbooked for the next evening. They offered a different time of day but we wanted the evening tour. Main office called us back after multiple holds and were told we could fit in the 8:00pm but no guarantee of a discount. Since we had already been told the ride was overbooked and no discount guaranteed like we had been told, we canceled. Didn’t want to run into the same issue two nights in a row.
Thanks LeighAnne for sharing your experience. We're truly sorry for the frustration and confusion you encountered. We understand why the conflicting information about availability and the promised discount made it difficult to feel confident about rescheduling. That's not the experience we want for our guests. Your feedback is valuable, and we're reviewing it with our team to improve communication and avoid situations like this in the future. We appreciate you giving us the opportunity to try to find a solution, and we're sorry we weren't able to earn your confidence. We hope you'll consider giving us another chance to provide the experience you originally expected.
Didn’t get to ride in golf cart. Guide spoke with foreign accent & fast. Sound system was great but couldn’t understand most of what he said. Very disappointed in the whole experience.
We appreciate you Paula for taking the time to provide your thoughts. We sincerely apologize if your experience fell short of your expectations. We can appreciate how disappointing it must have been to not be able to ride in the golf cart as planned, and we regret that even with the clear sound system, it was challenging to follow the tour due to the guide's accent and speech rate. We value your candid feedback because it enables us to pinpoint areas for improvement.
This was a great way to get a "first day in Washington DC" highlights tour. The vehicle was sized so as to fit several families---just a "small group" which made getting on and off the vehicle at the stops a lot easier. To see the monument sites where the tour stops, you need to move pretty quickly, especially with summer season crowds. We missed seeing the WW2 and Vietnam Memorial sites, but as this was a short tour timewise, we felt we got our money's worth. An added positive was that the kids (5th graders) enjoyed the open air ride!
We are truly thankful for sharing your experience! We're delighted that our tour was a great introduction to Washington, DC and that the smaller group made the experience more comfortable and enjoyable. We appreciate your understanding that time at each stop can be limited, especially during the busy summer season. It's wonderful to hear the open-air ride was a hit with the kids—that's always one of our favorite parts to hear! We hope to welcome your family back again so you can explore even more of DC's incredible memorials and landmarks. Safe travels!
The tour was 2 hours, we made several quick stops at monuments. Our guide was very knowledgable about the history of DC.
Hi Suzanne, Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad you enjoyed exploring DC with us. It's great to hear that the stops gave you a chance to take in the monuments while learning about the city's rich history from your guide. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!
The ride was not good. He made us change our seats and made us split and sit in the back. Overall ride was confusing and had a bad experience . Will not do this again.
Hi Aditya, we are truly sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it must have been to be separated from your group and to feel confused during the tour. Seating adjustments are sometimes necessary to ensure everyone's safety and balance in the vehicle, but we recognize that this should have been communicated more clearly. We appreciate your honest feedback, as it helps us improve both our communication and the overall guest experience. Thank you for giving us a try, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.
What a wonderful way to see the major sites. We were able to still go in comfort although it rained a little. Our guide was very knowledgeable. He was also flexible when we requested to stop at a site that was originally a drive by. I highly recommend this tour!
Thank you Heather for this great remark! We're thrilled to hear that, despite a little rain along the road, you had fun discovering the city's famous sites. It's wonderful to know that the event was made even more special by your guide's expertise and adaptability. We sincerely thank you for recommending us, and we hope to see you again when you visit Washington, D.C. for another experience!
