O túmulo de Ramesses III, designado como KV 11, é um sistema complexo no Vale dos Reis. É conhecido desde a antiguidade, as decorações maravilhosas incluem relevos pintados coloridos com os textos rituais tradicionais (Ladainha de Rá, Livro das Portas, etc) e Ramsés antes dos deuses. Templo de Merenptah, Cisjordânia de Luxor
O túmulo de Ramsés IV (KV 2) no Vale dos Reis é bastante diferente do que a maioria dos outros túmulos construídos aqui. Esta tumba é de longe a mais espetacular das outras tumbas que você verá. Os hieróglifos na parede mostram cenas da Ladainha de Rá, Livro dos Mortos, Livro das Cavernas, Livro dos Céus, Livro de Amduat e Livro da Noite. As cores azul e branco nas paredes dentro da câmara funerária são muito vibrantes e você pode ver o sarcófago do rei feito de granito rosa. Há também uma bela cena da deusa Nut no teto, onde ela é retratada engolindo o sol e viajando pelo estômago, para Nut dar à luz. O túmulo tem tanta cor e detalhes até o teto acima dos sarcófagos, com sua deusa Nut se estendendo pelo espaço. O sarcófago é um dos maiores do vale, embora algumas das pinturas tenham se deteriorado, este é um dos mais decorados.
Ramesseum (Templo Mortuário de Ramsés II)
O túmulo do rei Ramess lx foi o terceiro faraó da vigésima dinastia do Novo Reino do Antigo Egito. Seu nome antes de assumir a coroa era Amonhirkhopshef. Ele foi o quinto filho de Ramsés III e foi nomeado para o cargo de príncipe herdeiro pelo vigésimo segundo ano do reinado de seu pai quando todos os quatro de seus irmãos mais velhos precederam sua promoção ao príncipe herdeiro. O túmulo tem tanta cor e detalhe até o teto acima dos sarcófagos, com sua deusa Nut estendendo-se pelo espaço. O sarcófago é um dos maiores do vale, embora algumas pinturas tenham se deteriorado, é uma das mais decoradas.

Easily booked, great informative and helpful guide (Hassan) clean and modern minibus with great aircon. As this was our second visit to the Valley of the Kings we had an idea of what we wanted to see, this was easily facilitated by Hassan. We had an interesting insight into the history of the Valley and some great information on the stories we would see in the tombs. If you’re on one of the TUI cruises and don’t want to do the whole day trip offered with them then this is a good alternative, safe and definitely value for money.

We had a private tour booked to visit the tombs / Valleyof the Kings. Our guide Amil, was very knowledgeable and funny, he gave the story of the tombs etc, however he stayed in the cafe area whilst we walked around the tombs amd valley on our own. We noticed other guides following to the door of the tomb, telling the story in detail of each. It could have been nice to get this detail for each, however walking around on our own enabled us to see more than the three tombs included with the ticket. We also saw King Tut’s tomb which costs extra., but we felt worth it. We also went to visit Hatshepsut’s temple, again our guide waited in the cafe whilst we walked around the temple on our own. Definitely recommend the experience, but look carefully gor a guide that stays with you if that is ehat you want.

I feel so lucky that Hasan was our tour guide on our private tour to the valley of the kings. He made the Egyptian history come alive and he was such a fantastic story teller. The kids loved him, and he made our visit smooth and as enjoyable as it can possible be when you are queening with thousands of other tourists in blazing heat to see the tombs (with two sometimes grumpy kids). Having the luxury of a private guide meant that we could leave when the kids had enough and we could do things in our own tempo. Hassan was very responsive to us and an all in all kind man. I highly recommend this tour.

Very well organised, khalid was an excellent, passionate guide with plenty of information but not excessive. We visited all the sights we wanted too and were able to opt out of the alabaster tour which was not of interest. Easy morning and we beat the crowds. Everything ran to time.
