Vou partilhar o meu conhecimento de Rouen, as minhas dicas culinárias e uma série de histórias invulgares sobre a cidade e algumas das suas figuras emblemáticas, como Joana d'Arc e os Vikings. Vivo em Rouen há mais de 30 anos e a minha paixão pela sua história e a minha capacidade de relacionamento com as pessoas permitir-lhe-ão viver uma experiência única que o fará apreciar a minha bela cidade!

Descrição da fachada e sua história
A abadia de Saint-Ouen de Rouen é um dos principais monumentos da cidade de Rouen; sua igreja abacial é um exemplo perfeito da arquitetura gótica na Normandia. A abadia é objecto de uma classificação como monumentos históricos pela lista de 1840
O aître Saint-Maclou é uma antiga vala comum que data do século XVI, localizada em 186, rue de Martainville, em Rouen, França. É um dos raros exemplos de um ossuário deste tipo remanescente na Europa. O aître Saint-Maclou é objecto de uma classificação como monumentos históricos pela lista de 1862
O Gros-Horloge é um dos monumentos emblemáticos da cidade de Rouen. A construção, anexada a um campanário, consiste em um arco renascentista que atravessa a rue du Gros-Horloge encimado por um relógio astronômico do século XIV
Foi nesta praça, em plena Guerra dos Cem Anos, que Joana d'Arc foi queimada viva em 30 de maio de 1431. O lugar, como Joana d'Arc o via, não se parecia com o que é hoje. A praça era menor e seu espaço era ocupado pela igreja de Saint-Sauveur, a igreja de Saint-Michel e por um grande mercado. Era também o local habitual de execuções. Uma grande cruz foi erguida no local da estaca. No meio da praça, os restos da antiga igreja de Saint-Sauveur foram desenterrados. É nesta modesta igreja paroquial que foi batizado Pierre Corneille, sua cidade natal, rue de la Pie, agora transformada em museu localizado nas proximidades. Hoje é uma praça animada, em torno da qual se encontram restaurantes e bares

This tour was so fun and interesting! Easily one of the best tour guides I ever had. We did a day trip from Paris and it was worth the extra 1.5 hour train ride!

We had a wonderful small-group walking tour of Rouen with Ludovic. His English was excellent, and he was joyful, enthusiastic, and so knowledgeable throughout the tour. He made the history of Rouen come alive while keeping everything fun and engaging. Ludovic made sure we had plenty of time to take photos at all the important spots, and he even offered to take pictures of us along the way. He asked questions, kept the group involved, and made the experience feel personal and memorable. This is the first thing everyone should do when they arrive in Rouen. It’s the perfect introduction to the city, and Ludovic was an outstanding guide!
This was a terrific guided walk of historical Rouen. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging and had some great stories ( and quizzes) along the way. It was a very small group, which gave opportunity for asking questions. Most enjoyable!
More than two hours of informative, varied walks punctuated by small anachronistic moments, revealing the city in unique and original aspects. Ludovic's personality and energy contribute greatly to this experience. We were a group of 6 young seniors, and the moment was unique. Kudos to Ludovic. We recommend the visit and the guide!
