Este passeio permite que você veja mais de 40.000 artesãos locais nos souks de Marrakech. Você descobrirá as maravilhas das especiarias e tradições marroquinas que são usadas internacionalmente e também pelos marroquinos há centenas de anos. O guia mostrará como os tapetes tradicionais são feitos à mão a partir de cores naturais, e você também poderá ver como o cobre, a madeira e outros itens originais são feitos nos souks. O guia garantirá que você se sinta confortável e aproveite sua visita.

Começaremos por visitar as oficinas de artesãos locais (marroquinaria, ferreiros, carpinteiros, tintureiros, etc. e muitos outros). Visitaremos alguns dos melhores showrooms, bazares e lojas, para descobrir os melhores produtos do nosso artesanato, que não se encontram à primeira vista! De móveis a joias, luminárias, acessórios, tapetes e cafetãs… tudo está neste passeio único!
O souk dos tintureiros situa-se na Medina, perto da nascente Mouassine e da mesquita com o mesmo nome, na metade ocidental do emaranhado de ruas. Embora este souk tenha perdido a sua actividade há vários anos com a crescente utilização de corantes industriais, ainda é possível ver algumas pequenas oficinas onde ainda se pratica o tingimento tradicional.
Considerada a principal artéria dos souks da Medina, o Souk Semmarine é acessível a partir da Praça Jemaa El Fna, num derb (beco da medina) com o mesmo nome. Nome que leva aos ferradores que outrora ocupavam este local estratégico para ferrar os animais dos caravaneiros, enquanto estes faziam as suas compras habituais. Hoje, o Souk Semmarine é uma avenida comercial muito colorida onde se encontram principalmente comerciantes de tecidos, lembranças, artesanato, mas também endereços únicos de antiguidades marroquinas. Representa a entrada para os souks especializados: especiarias, tapetes, tecidos, chinelos... Uma verdadeira caverna de Ali Babá.

Amid found us at the meeting point and it was just the two of of us on this booking. It was a wet day so we got under cover in the souk. Amid shared a lot of interesting information about Morocco, Marrakesh, the souk and the artisans. Plenty of history and how that has shaped Marrakesh today. There were various stops at different shops of good quality. Friendly selling, tea along the way, but no pressure to buy. A great way to familiarise yourself with the various areas of the souk and assistance in getting a better deal if you are keen to make a purchase. If you want to see more artisans in action it would be good to go on a morning tour

Our Marrakech experience with Amid The day was full of excitement...Amid had given us a thorough tour to the places we want to go like the Souk of Medina, Jemaa El- Fnaa and many more...he was so patient and kind and very accommodating to answer the questions about the place. The history and the buildings are art itself. I even take notes of the history he had discussed about the place in Marrakech. He brought us to places that we can buy original and genuine products from Morroco, leathers and teapots, herbs and beauty products, as well as the recommended Hammam scrub 🤣 an unforgettable experience. We were glad our riad recommended Amid as our private tour guide. We're in Marrakech for a short visit on the weekend to celebrate me and my friends 50th 🎂! Instantly you get a connection with Amid like your friend a long time ago. He puts us at ease straight away. We thoroughly enjoyed our full-day private walking tour with Amid! He is very knowledgeable about Morocco’s history & culture, which made his explanations interesting and informative at each stop. He adjusted our itinerary to fit our interests and structured our day intelligently - visits to important sites followed by a relaxing rooftop to lunch, then shopping in the souks. As a shopping guide, Amid really excelled! We were given special showings by high quality merchants for only the product categories we wanted to see (rugs, spices, skin care, and stoneware). Amid gave us negotiating tips and helped ensure we got excellent value on our purchases. We highly recommend taking a tour with Amid when visiting Marrakech!
