Com um guia exclusivo, faça um passeio a pé de 2,5 horas por um dos bairros mais antigos e icônicos de Paris - o Quartier Latin. Você começará pela Catedral de Notre Dame (exterior apenas) antes de fazer seu caminho a pé para o parque de jogos dos estudantes franceses e da geração perdida. Os pontos turísticos incluem o Panthéon e o Luxemburgo Garden. Selecione um horário de partida da manhã ou da tarde ao fazer a reserva.

Uma vez no ponto de encontro, você começará sua excursão explorando o ile de la cite, o assentamento mais antigo de Paris. Uma vez conhecida como Lutetia, essa antiga cidade romana era a antecessora da atual Paris, da qual a cidade cresceu para fora.
A partir daqui, você verá a infame Catedral de Notre Dame (exterior apenas) – a mais famosa das catedrais góticas da Idade Média, distinguida pelo seu tamanho, antiguidade e interesse arquitetônico.
Você passará pela fonte Saint-Michel, uma fonte monumental encomendada por Haussmann, sob Napoleão III. Retrata o arcanjo Miguel vencendo o diabo, evocando pensamentos da batalha entre o bem e o mal.
Em seguida, seguiremos em direção a Shakespeare and Company, uma livraria diferente de qualquer outra. A poucos minutos de Notre Dame, é sem dúvida uma das livrarias mais famosas do mundo, onde os tipos literários da geração Beatnik encontrariam um lar nos anos 50 e 60.
A seguir, você verá a igreja paroquial católica grega melquita, Saint Julien le Pauvre, um dos mais antigos edifícios religiosos da cidade.
Você também verá a igreja católica romana de Saint Séverin, uma das igrejas mais antigas que permanece na margem esquerda e continua a ser usada como local de culto.
Depois disso, seguiremos em direção ao Museu de Cluny, também conhecido como Museu Nacional da Idade Média. Este museu é parcialmente construído sobre os remanescentes dos banhos galo-romanos do século III e abriga coleções famosas dos séculos I ao XV.
Em seguida, iremos para a infame Universidade Sorbonne, uma faculdade que se tornou o epicentro do conhecimento. A história da Sorbonne está intimamente ligada à da criação da universidade francesa.
Em seguida, dirigiremos-nos para o Panteão (Exterior Only), um edifício originalmente construído como uma igreja dedicada a St Genevieve, mas agora funciona como mausoléu secular, contendo os restos de cidadãos franceses notáveis como Voltaire e Rousseau.
Em seguida, iremos aos belos jardins de Luxemburgo, situados na fronteira entre Saint-Germain-des-Prés e o Quartier Latin. Os jardins, inspirados nos Jardins Boboli em Florença, foram criados em 1612 por iniciativa da rainha Marie de Médici e cobrem 25 hectares de terra.
Se tivermos tempo, veremos a igreja de Saint-Éienne du Mont, que contém o santuário de St Geneviève, bem como o túmulo de Jean Racine.
Também passaremos pelo Muro de Philip August, a muralha da cidade mais antiga de Paris. O muro foi construído durante as lutas entre Filipe II da França e a Casa Anglo-Normanda de Plantagenet, quando o rei francês ordenou a construção de um muro de pedra para proteger a capital francesa antes de partir para a Terceira Cruzada.

We were in Paris during the heat wave. The other travelers backed out and we were lucky to have a private tour with Eden. . She was professional and personable. It was clear she loved Paris. We were able to see the Musee de Cluny, Sorbonne, Pantheon, church of Saint Severin and the gorgeous Luxembourg gardens. This was a wonderful overview.
Our guide, Georgia, was one of the most knowledgeable tour guides we’ve ever had, and we’ve been on many tours. Our 2.5 hour tour of the Latin quarter was as much a history lesson as it was a sites tour. If we were staying longer, we would sign up for another of Georgia’s tours. We could not recommend this tour, and Georgia, more highly. Thank you Georgia!!

Maria S was a fantastic and extremely knowledgeable guide. My husband and I loved learning about the history and current events of this arrondissement. Some of the site stops were typical for Latin Quarter and some were hidden stories/gems we would never have found on our own. Maria S was also well organized - sending confirmation messages and even a map pin to find her.
This was a great tour covering the history of the Latin Quarter, from Roman ruins up through the jazz clubs of the 1920s. Our guide, Eden, was wonderful. She brought us all through the neighborhood, from the Seine all the way through to Luxembourg Gardens. She explained the history of the area and how each site we visited played a role in shaping the culture of the Latin Quarter and of Paris. If you are staying on the Left Bank I recommend booking this tour early in your stay; the information and context you’ll get from it will serve you well for the reminder of your time in Paris.
We had a very good and nice trip with a very nice and friendly guide. Jay, our guide, was very entusiastisk and had a big knowledge to Parisian history. We can warm recommend Jay as the best guide.
Eden really knows how to make a tour both fun and informative. I originally booked with my husband but he couldn't go so I went solo. Had a great time. Whether you are solo or with others, Eden can make your day.
Alisair was an awesome guide for many reasons. He was British so his English was good. He had studied theater so his witty way of describing places and events was very entertaining. And he was very conscious of the fact that the temp was in the 90’s so he sought out shade and places to sit quite frequently, which was good since 4 of the 6 in the group were in our 70’s. As I think others have noted, this tour does not go inside Notre Dame so I also booked the Notre Dame and City Center tour which allowed for 20 minutes inside the cathedral. Both were different and well worth it.
