Sua jornada culinária começa em Skanstull, a porta sul para Södermalm. Uma vez uma área industrial, evoluiu para um distrito animado onde a tradição encontra a vida urbana moderna. Passeamos ao longo de Götgatan, uma rua movimentada com boutiques, cafés e negócios locais. We had a great time with Oliver over 3 1/2 hours learning lots about the Swedish culinary culture and history. Our tummy’s were completely full but the end! We highly recommend this tour - lots of stops at what look to be uber local places and lovely food choices. Easy walking and the day was stellar in terms of weather so a perfect ambiance to enhance the overall experience. We have done lots of food tours and this ranks in our top list.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour and about our guide, Kristen, who was funny, enthusiastic, and very knowledgeable. The six well-chosen stops offered us tasting menus that provided a range af Swedish flavors, from herring to meatballs and even surstromming-flavored salt. (I doubt I could have handled actual surstromming!) Thank you, Kristen, for a fantastic afternoon!

The guide was very friendly. But I didn’t think all the places they took us to were good Swedish food choices. For example, we went to a Ramen restaurant and the ramen was tasteless.
Hi Amy, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I am sorry to hear that some of the food stops did not fully match what you were hoping for. Our Nordic tour is built around Swedish flavours, and we are proud of the restaurants and food producers we work with. The ramen stop you mention is a Swedish take on ramen made with reindeer. All the ingredients are prepared from scratch. For us, it is a carefully crafted example of how a classic Swedish ingredient can be used in a different way. I understand that this particular dish was not to your taste, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your honest impression. I am pleased to hear that you found your guide to be very friendly.
Kristen was a wonderful guide for our afternoon walking tour of Södermalm, friendly, warm, and knowledgeable with a passion for both the culture and the history of the neighborhood. Portions were frequently generous, so I wouldn’t plan a large meal before or after if you’d like to finish each dish. Highly recommended!

I love to experience new places through food but I have to admit, I did not have high expectations for Scandinavian food. WOW- was I proved wrong. This tour hit all the highlights, delicious bites, fun facts and history- all made so enjoyable by Oliver. His passion and love for Stockholm food was contagious. Highly recommend.
