Lee gave a great food tour. He explained the various origins of the food we tasted and he gave us general historical significance of the area.
Juan was very knowledgable about the history and culture of Berlin and its foods. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and the neighborhoods we visited. We highly recommend this tour, it was awesome!
Elisabetta met us and our tour started straight away . We didn’t walk far but we travelled the world and covered some history in the three hours. The food was good. My favourite the pork loaf sandwich. Elisabetta accommodated our food and drink needs: including vegetarian and non beer drinking.
Our guide, Lee did a great job of improvising after we figured out the meeting point location had changed and we got a later start. However, the food was not worth the price of this tour.

We were fortunate enough to have our guide, Tiago, to ourselves. He gave us such an amazing experience of his own neighbourhood. He selected some of the best foods to give us a taste of German cuisine.
Tiago curated an incredible experience, very customized for our family of 5. Trying to have a. 7,10, and 13 year old learn and enjoy our one day in Berlin was feat and he did an incredible job. Kids learned the history of world world 2, Berlin Wall all whiles enjoying some amazing eats and drinks!!
We were treated to traditional Berlin gastronomy, which is not German. We stopped at Kreutzburg Market to gather leberkasse, and then walked around to get samples of pretzels, curry wurst, doner kebabs, mezzi platter, baklava, etc and the found a park for a great picnic. We continued exploring much of the food fares near Kreutzburg, walking and getting history of the area and how the foods reflect the ethnic diversity of Berlin. Great tour.
Wonderful day learning about and tasting the food, as well as learning the area on the tour .. Uygur was truly a pleasure and extremely informative about the local food and the areas the food was located . I highly recommend the tour and most definitely would recommend uygur as the guide !
Our guide, Felix, was entertaining, knowledgeable and he hit all the culinary (comfort food) hot spots for our indigenous food tour!
We had the best time with Sara, our tour guide! We were very jet lagged after just landing earlier that day in Berlin, but Sara was engaging and fun! So despite the foggy brain I remember so much of the tour. Sara was very knowledgeable and personable, it was one of the coolest food tours I’ve had in a while. She even provided us with numerous great suggestions for additional places to experience post tour. If you want an authentic German food sampling tour, I would recommend this. If you are vegetarian, you likely won’t get your moneys worth (fyi).
