Cada parada de degustação de alimentos foi selecionada não apenas pela qualidade da comida, mas também pela história que se desenrola, pela paixão de seu povo e seu significado na comunidade local. Depois de conhecer nosso guia, a primeira parada de comida é em um local no centro histórico da cidade de Corfu chamado "o santo", onde teremos um típico brunch grego. O brunch inclui a tradicional torta de queijo grego, torta de espinafre, torta de creme de leite, cerveja de gengibre, baklava e o famoso iogurte grego.
Nossa segunda parada gastronômica apresentará aos nossos visitantes a fruta kumquat local. Vamos experimentar o licor de kumquat, as delícias gregas com sabor de kumquat e o "mandolato" um doce de corfiot feito de nougat.
A única loja de laticínios tradicional na cidade de Corfu desde 1950 que você terá a oportunidade de provar a famosa manteiga fresca Corfiot que eles fazem todos os dias, um pudim e galaktoboureko (torta de creme).
Nesta parada, teremos a chance de apresentar aos nossos visitantes os primeiros ingredientes e especiarias da comida de Corfiot e fazer uma degustação de azeite, pois o azeite foi a principal receita de Corfu durante séculos. O dono da loja nos dará dicas e alguns conselhos secretos para cozinhar algumas das famosas comidas gregas.
Nosso passeio terminaria em um restaurante onde teremos um almoço/jantar sentado. Vamos experimentar a comida tradicional local de Pastitsada e Sofrito. Nossos clientes experimentarão ouzo ou vinho e poderão relaxar desfrutando de uma refeição no final do passeio.

We had a wonderful evening with our guide Elektra on the walking food tour in Corfu town. We learnt about the history of Corfu while we wandered through the beautiful old town. We stopped to sample food along the way, delicious pastries, meats and cheeses, and sweets before having a meal in a taverna. Elektra was so knowledgeable and great fun to be with. I highly recommended this tour.

I cannot recommend this tour enough! My family of 4 booked this tour on a Monday and were greeted by our tour guide, Electra. Turns out, we were the only ones on the tour! Electra was wonderful! She walked us through town and told us so many interesting things about Corfu and fed us fantastic food! You could tell she loves Corfu and loves giving these tours. It was a great day! We book food tours on almost all of our trips, so we have done many of them. We all agreed that this was our favorite one!

Such an amazing time with Elektra on this food tour! We were on a Disney cruise and fortunately booked this cruise directly with the operator. The stops were amazing, all very authentic and places we would have likely chosen on our own. Baklava and pastries, a local butter on a roll that was mind blowing, local drinks, and for 'lunch' a mix of typical dishes from Corfu including an amazing pasta, and a seabass. Highly recommended!

Our guide was with Alice and she was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! So knowledgeable, friendly.. could not have asked for more All the food was incredible. A really good selection. Only note is that you eat a lot before the main meal at the end and so you will need a bag for the spare food! If I could make one alteration to it, it would be to have some of the sweet treats at the end. Do not eat before this tour!

Electra was an exceptional food tour guide. Her passion and knowledge for Corfu were so admirable! We had a brilliant guide, Alice, who showed us and taught us so much over one evening- incredibly impressive. The food is really tasty and there is a lot of it! We couldn't do justice to the final meal, thankfully one of the people on the trip was able to polish most of it off. We joined the tour on our first evening in Corfu and it helped with the rest of the trip so much as we knew what we liked and where we wanted to go. Also gave us good orientation for the city and an overview of the history. Alice also sent us a little guide via WhatsApp of good restaurants and places to buy things.

Alice was very friendly and informative. We only had one evening in Corfu Town but felt that we learnt so much about it in the limited time available. Lots of different food to try. Thoroughly recommend, make sure you start the tour hungry!
