We had a fantastic experience on this small group food tour! All of their tours are small but this one was really small- just three of us! It felt like a private tour which was even better! It took us to five delicious restaurants, each offering amazing bites! It is a lot of food so come hungry! Beyond the food, we loved hearing the stories behind each spot and learning more about the local community—it added so much depth to the experience. Our guide, Dena, was wonderful. She shared so much interesting information along the way and made sure we felt taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore great food and local culture in Hell’s Kitchen!
Alex was a wealth of knowledge with great storytelling skills. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour and the variety of delicious foods.
Alex was a wonderful tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the area. The food was wonderful too. I specially enjoyed the japanese barbeque and the indian style taco. Had a great time on this tour.
My husband and I took Manhattan Walking Tours “Hell’s Kitchen Food Tour” with two friends, and we all had a fantastic time. We ate at five completely unique, absolutely delicious establishments, and we had a truly wonderful guide - Alex. An aspiring actor, he was a GREAT storyteller and shared super entertaining stories about this historic neighborhood, as well as many tales about its fascinating inhabitants over the years. We all agreed that the experience was a true highlight of our NYC visit. We highly recommend it!
Wow! If you want delicious unique food and a fascinating history of Hell’s Kitchen, this is the tour for you! Our guide, Dave, knew everything about everything and even took the time to show us some cool stuff, like the diner where the idea for Seinfeld was born (across the street from where Larry David lived). The food was plentiful, we were stuffed for the day! This tour is a must-do if you really want to explore NYC in a genuine way!
Amazing tour!! Learned so much about the history of Hells Kitchen. Alex was a phenomenal story teller!! He was full of fun facts and ready to answer every question. The group size was perfect. Just the right amount of people to not make it feel crowded or overwhelming. We got to try some DELICIOUS food and even went back the next day to one of the restaurants to try more things. Definitely recommend!
