Do not book. I don't think this tour exists anymore. I sent multiple messages and an email without a response. Nobody showed up. It doesn't deserve a star. I've already messaged Viator to get refunded

Tour guide was a no show. Phone number for guide is out of service. Do not book this tour. Viator could not get ahold of them either.

I showed up at the meeting point and no one showed up, got no news concerning if it was cancelled and didn’t get any replies from the tour operator when I messaged them. Got stranded in the rain and had to rearrange my whole evening.

Still no refund and she will not answer calls or respond to emails. Just terribly disappointing that someone would do this to another person. I can't believe the great reviews are real, I feel completely scammed!

I would give this 0 stars if I could. On the day of my tour the operator completely ghosted me. I tried messaging on Viator and even googled them and called and texted the Whatsapp number from their website and got no response. I left the meeting point and contacted Viator and they said they’d contact the tour operator for a refund and they can’t do anything until the operator responds. It’s been days and still no word on my refund. Skip this tour. It’s very easy to find places to eat in PV and, if anything, you can just look at some of the restaurants listed in the description and go by yourself for much cheaper. This tour company is clearly completely unprofessional if not outright scammers.

We were booked for a tour a week and a half ago. It was great communication for scheduling and payment. The morning of our tour I tried multiple times to confirm with no response. A couple hours before our tour a member of our hotel staff let me know she called to cancel due to her computer being down but that we would get a refund. I’ve still had no response on Facebook messenger or WhatsApp. I just want my $257 back.

My friend and I had a fantastic time on this food tour. I consider myself a foodie and was truly impressed with the variety of food and places we visited. I plan to come back to this part of Costa Rica again and will definitely schedule another tour with Lora!

Highly recommend the tour and taking it early in your trip. Not only will Lora take you to some really great places to eat (and try some new foods such as white fish ceviche, maracuya fruit, etc.), but also give some great ideas of things to do (and possibly not do). Overall, it was a delicious way to learn about the community and the 'pura vida' lifestyle. Lora was easy to talk to, informative, and clearly cares a lot about what she does. Again, highly recommend this tour.

We had a great evening with Lora. After many excursions into nature, the food tour was a great change. Lora knows a lot about the region and you not only learn culinary but also learn about the history, which we found super interesting. The tour includes a lot of stops and we tried some very fine things and got tips for the next few days (especially the Chimichurri was awesome!). Thank you very much Lora!
