Booked in Dec 25 for our Jun/Jul holiday. 5 Star contacted me by Whatsapp on our arrival in Vegas on 28th June to check we were in Vegas for our trip on 2nd July. I should have been worried as they put a completely different name on the Whats app. Confirmed we were in Vegas and asked them for pick up details for the trip. I was told these would be provided the afternoon before our trip. They duly contacted me and provided pick up time etc. They did ask if we were flexible on time as 11am flght booked but it may be 1pm. They would confirm the morning of the trip. 5 Star cancelled on the morning of the trip as they could not get 6 people for the trip. Why did you not tell us when we first arrived in Vegas that the trip may not go ahead. It gave us no time to find an alternative provider. Thanks 5 Star Helicopters for ruining the trip of a lifetime on our wedding anniversary. 1 star given but should be none.

We also apologize for the incorrect name used in our initial WhatsApp message, which understandably did not inspire confidence. Our Reservations Team works with shared helicopter departures, and flights are subject to minimum passenger numbers required by the operating partner. We always hope to confirm departures as early as possible, but in this instance we were not informed until the morning of your scheduled flight that the minimum numbers had not been met. We appreciate that this left you with little opportunity to make alternative arrangements, and we sincerely regret the impact this had on your trip. This is not the level of service we strive to provide, and we are reviewing our communication processes to see how we can better keep guests informed when there is uncertainty around a departure. We appreciate your feedback and are truly sorry that we were unable to be part of what should have been a memorable celebration.
We were picked up from our hotel on time, Joseph the driver was great, The safety video clear,our pilot Lucas was fantastic, he was so knowledgeable and funny, as we had first time flyers with us, Lucas put them at ease straight away, I would definitely recommend 5 star helicopter tours to everyone
Our pilot, Marcus was amazing! He offered a fun, narrative guided tour in the air. It was definitely a 5 Star experience flying over Mead Lake, the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon.
From weather updates before the flight to final hotel drop-off, this experience was amazing! Bob was very accommodating for our pickup, communication from 5 Star was fantastic, and our pilot was personable, funny, and very professional. We saw the Hoover Dam and went fairly deep into the Grand Canyon. We were shown how small the glass overhang was and how far away it was. If you don’t have a full day to see the Canyon on foot, this was pricier but definitely worth it!
I was scared at first because I am afraid of heights. It didn’t bother me at all. It was magical. I’m sold on seeing our natural wonders via helicopter now. Lucas was an amazing pilot and tour guide. Very informational and calming. Loved this outing!💕

The helicopter ride was magnificent. The view of the grand canyon from a helicopter is unlike anything I have experienced.
Lucas was a fantastic helicpter pilot and guide. His passion for camping/hiking and for the Grand Canyon really shone through. If you want to see the true beauty of the canyon from the best possible perspective, Lucas is your man!
The tour was exactly as described in the website. Overall, we had a fantastic experience. Our pilot Lucas was phenomenal, his explanations were very informative and made the tour that much more interesting on a picture perfect day. Thanks Lucas !
