Defne was amazing! She took us to so many local spots - the food was delicious!! We had a wide variety of dishes. Defne also shared so much about the culture and history of Istanbul with us - it was all so interesting! Highly recommend doing this food tour!
We took the Hidden Beyoğlu tour with Başak and highly recommend it! We had a great time wandering the neighborhood and seeing it come alive on a Saturday night. The food was all exceptional, and the tour was well paced so we never felt rushed or over stuffed. Başak was a lovely guide and additionally gave us some great tips for places to check out during the rest of our day. This is our second tour with Culinary Backstreets and we look forward to our next.
We loved our experience on the food tour. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and seemed to know everyone in the neighborhood. We had a nice variety of food to sample, including vegetarian options, and quite frankly had too much to eat! The cost is a bit high, but we had a small group of three so it was nice to have a more intimate experience. The tour lasted about 4-4.5 hours in the evening, which is a significant time period so mayboe not great for kids. Would definitely booked with the guide again!

The places she brought us were perfect - a great variety of food options with friendly owners. And, one of our guests was gluten free and she completely accommodated the allergy.
