We didn’t have much time so the trip was short and we missed seeing the village life and other experiences, but we stood over the imaginary Equator line (at the center of the world!) and we enjoyed the journey thanks to our guide, Steve, who was so friendly and welcoming!
Worth to get foot stamped on the equator line.. and walk around the village area, but a bit small village. Quite a long drive, but ut is ok
Steve is an amazing guide and I had a great day. He also went above and beyond and offered another tour the next day. The equator trip is amazing and Steve filled in gaps left be the local tours explanations. Would highly recommend this private tour to the equator for a great day!
This is a quick stop. You can stand on 0° latitude without paying for an entry fee of any kind. There are a lot of tourist related shops around there to buy your souvenirs but mostly you just want your picture in the big equator circle.
A fun tour with a great guide, Steve who shared of his great knowledge. And also made sure we had the plessure to taste the famous ugandan banana beer.
We very much enjoyed the tour to equator! the most interesting part was carrying out an experiment to distinguish northern and Southern Hemisphere! we did walk around the village and this was great ! Highly recommended
A great tour of the equator from Uganda. Refreshment stops along the way. Knowledgeable guide. Interesting demonstrations of north v south.
It was a real value for money your and very interesting to visit a place of this nature. Steve was a most pleasant guide and safe transporter. It would have been nice if the aircon was working. But glad that I could negotiate transport all the way back to my accommodation with him.
We conducted a short notice trip to Kampala, without pre booking. Steven was handed to us by friends. He was able to provide nice views to his country, by organicing 3 nice day trips. Steven is really frindly, good informed and really accountable. He has the right skill to show you the nice side of Uganda. We will come back, visiting other areas with him. Good luck Steven and thanks! A&A
Definitely recommend this tour it's a must to know the city as you will visit places that you would not normally go into by yourself :)
