My wife and I signed up for this awesome tour in July 2026. The tour guide was Caroline L. . Definitely very experienced and knowledgeable about Dutch history and culture. We rendezvous with her at a Coffee shop. There were another 15 guest. Caroline was very sensitive and had planned restroom breaks. We rode a shuttle to the Zanse Schans. We attend lectures on the manufacturing of wooden shoes - quite interesting. Lectures on how cheese is made. We toured different wind mills what the mills produced. This is a walking tour with Caroline speaking at each location. Alot of opportunities for photographs. My wife and I were glad we attended this tour. Caroline provided the history and culture. Overall would highly recommend this tour. The tour started on time and ended on time. There were opportunities to purchase delicious food.
This was a perfect day. So beautiful. Our guide, Mika, was fantastic. The group was 15 people - not too many. The coach was comfortable. So glad we did this and we had such a great guide.
We loved this tour. It was very informative and Sharon, our guide, kept us entertained the entire trip. She was wonderful and so was the tour. So different from Kinderdijk you really need to see both.
An absolutely wonderful excursion. Smooth pick and drop off. Sharon, our guide was excellent. A local, she provided detailed bs ground and information about the village and was a delight to interact with.
Was very beneficial to go with a local guide. She was very insightful and provided insight into the history of the area. Very casual pace with time to souvenir shop where required. Reliable service.
I took this tour with my kids. Claudia was a wonderful and very knowledgeable guide. The scenery was gorgeous, the town picturesque. The only thing that could have made this tour better was maybe a little more free time to explore the village. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone coming to the Netherlands.
A lovely trip to see windmills that have been reconstructed to preserve Dutch heritage Our Guide Mika was excellent
Tour was amazing! Our tour guide is the mayor of the town so he was able to give us great insight into what it’s like to live in this old small town. Really enjoyed the wooden clog making presentation and cheese making presentation. Make sure you are prepared if you want to walk up the steps in the windmill. Just long enough to take in all.
Loved the tour and the guide was exceptional. Girlinclogs…
Great experience with a very knowledgeable guide... the windmills were splendid, and the cheese tastings and the visit to the clog production factory were perfect. It is worth it
