Excursão de um dia para Vardzia, Borjomi na Geórgia

Everything was very well organized. Our guide Anna was very engaging and knowledgeable, and her stories made the tour even more interesting. She’s an absolutely fantastic person, full of energy 🇬🇪 The whole trip went smoothly and without any stress. It was truly a unique experience — we wished we could stay longer to enjoy the beautiful views.

I was exploring Georgia as a solo traveler and chose this tour. I had an amazing time with the guide, he was very knowledgeable, the car was super clean and comfy. All the details in the itinerary was done, the restaurant they chose was perfect and also very affordable I do recommend it

Very pleasant drive from Tbilisi to Vardzia. We did several stops. However, a small van so you always lean with your knees against the seat in front of it and the heating was sometimes put on which was far too hot. The guide was very good. Nino could switch very quickly from Georgian, to Russian and English. She spoke both languages perfectly. She could tell the background and history of the places we drove past or stopped. She was also very helpful to the travelers who were not walking well. Vardzia was magnificent. Borzhimi a little less but still pleasant in the end. Very nice trip! Especially when you don’t get that far south, it’s useful to do the trip because the road is no mean feat. Also nice eaten in the restaurant on Vardzia.

Was notified twelve hours before the tour was to begin that it had been canceled. Alternatives were provided, but that is a lame alternative, especially as I had already toured or the dates were after after my departure. Extremely inconvenient and compelled me to scramble to connive alternate plans VERY quickly and remain disappointed as Vardzia was near the top of the list for places in Georgia I wanted to visit (the exceedingly late notification afforded no opportunity for assembling an alternative plan). I even had to submit a refund request! Whole Viator resolved the request promptly I was annoyed by the need to squander my vacation time to tend to an issue I was completely unresponsible for and damaged my enjoyment of Georgia. PS. I was not going to write a review, but Viator keeps emailing requests, so here you have it.

Ana our guide was great! She has a lot of knowledge and is very energetic. Her love for Georgia is so infectious. The only thing what wasn’t so pleasant was the driver. He drove like a maniac and we didn’t feel safe at all.

It was truly amazing, places to see are wonderful but the guide and the driver made the day perfect. Funny, kind, always ready to explain and answer questions, but also to chill and have a laugh all together. That was perfect!! Roberto from Italy

Exploring the ancient caves of Vardzia was truly a remarkable experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have visited. The intricate architecture and history of the site were captivating, offering a glimpse into the past. Having George as our tour guide enriched the journey, as his knowledge and enthusiasm were evident throughout the day. Overall, the day trip was a memorable adventure, leaving a lasting impression of wonder.

Really unique experience, Vardzia built into a cliff is something you don’t see every day, recommended to experience.

After having the reservation made more than 1 month in advance, the previous night we were contacted by WhatsApp to tell us that part of the excursion will not be made, without giving us the option to cancel (since with less than 24 hours they do not refund the money) leaving only the option to accept or lose the money. We did the excursion and commented that the driver was very aggressive in his driving and the van used we were very tight (I am 6'8" and 80 kilos, so I am medium size). The guide who came on the tour was supposed to be English-speaking, but also Russian-speaking, but he set about explaining a large part in Russian with little explanation in English. The sites visited, only worth the stone excavations of Vardzia. The visit to Borjomi, is not of great value, just because of the legend of the Water Fountain. If I had to choose with another excursion, this would be the last on the list, and less so with this operator
