Nosso cruzeiro de um dia para o fascinante país da Albânia é destinado a viajantes aventureiros à procura de algo fora do comum. Do porto de Corfu, seguimos a costa albanesa até ao porto da cidade de Saranda. Um passeio de autocarro guiado de 20 km pelas margens virgens da costa sul e ilhas espalhadas está disponível. Passamos por pequenas aldeias pitorescas e infinitas planícies férteis que levam a um grande lago. O destaque do seu dia será uma visita a Butrint – um Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO. Ao longo dos séculos, a cidade antiga tinha desaparecido sob camadas de lodo e vegetação. No entanto, nos últimos anos, arqueólogos descobriram alguns dos melhores restos da cidade de trabalho no Mediterrâneo. A Torre Veneziana perto da entrada, o teatro antigo, o Templo de Asclepius, o ginásio antigo, os banhos romanos, o Baptistério Romano com seu piso de mosaico inestimável, a Porta do Leão e as enormes paredes cíclicas vão transportá-lo de volta no tempo de 2500 anos até o século III.(OPCIONAL)

Breve pausa para café na cidade de Saranda
Chegada à área arqueológica de Butrint. O passeio dura entre 90-110 minutos dependendo da idade. O passeio para idosos ou deficientes incluirá 70% da área arqueológica (com guia separado quando necessário). Há um pequeno bar/quiosque na entrada do local. Banheiros públicos estão disponíveis no final do passeio no Castelo Veneziano, na colina da Acrópole.

Por favor, note que devido às instalações limitadas de controle de passaportes e alfândegas e devido à falta de pessoal para o controle de passaportes, pode haver um atraso no processo de controle no porto de Corfu, de 30 a 90 minutos na chegada ou partida para todos os itinerários de verão. Nossa empresa fornece transporte de autocarro de e para o hotel e o principal porto de Corfu. A duração do transporte de autocarro depende da localização do seu hotel (de 20' a 120', aproximadamente). Por favor, esteja no ponto de encontro com pelo menos 5 minutos de antecedência e procure o ônibus com um sinal de cruzeiros ionianos. O número de telefone do Corfu Cruises Customer Service está disponível para o transporte de autocarro da manhã. Por favor, note que nossa empresa fornece transfer de San George-Pagi (Norte) todas as quartas, quartas e domingos. Saída do porto às 08:45. Embarque de 07:40 até 08:20. A porta do terminal fecha às 08:30. Por favor, esteja no porto pelo menos 40 minutos antes da hora prevista de partida do barco se você não tiver reservado um pick-up. O horário de partida está sujeito a pequenas alterações de acordo com as condições de trânsito locais.

Knowledgeable guides (available in multiple languages), well-planned itinerary, the lunch is a bit light on protein for non meat eaters but I still left full :) Saranda isn't too interesting but Butrinti was excellent, totally worth it!
I really enjoyed all the information and looking at the ruins. Although disapointed not to see the big mosaics advertised in the description of the trip and my main purpose in going. The lunch was a buffet style and Although it was good I expected something traditional. As for the time left to look around Sarandra, we found it to be pointless unless you want more food and drink we saw two shops selling junk items, and we did walk up and down the tiered streets as recommended. Would not do again unfortunately.

The day was very well organised. We opted for the pick up which was prompt, professional and comfortable. When we arrived at the port, we were clearly directed as to where we should be and what to do, there were plenty of staff to assist. The boat was comfortable and the journey to Sarandë took about 1 hr 15 minutes, it was very smooth for most of it, around 10 minutes on the approach to Sarande was a little choppy. Once we arrived, we were professionally guided to the correct coach by language and greeted by our guide who stayed with us for the remainder of the day. He gave us great information as we toured the site of Butrint which was amazing. If you are unsteady in your feet the paths here can be a little difficult, there were some people with strollers on our tour and I think it was very hard for them. The included lunch was really good and in a nice location, we then returned to Sarande for around an hour of free time before heading back to Corfú. We were are party of 3 - couple of 55 and one 70+ year old - and we all had a great day and thought it to be exceptionally good value.

From our hotel in Messonghi, 50 minutes by coach to reach the city of Corfu departure from the boat. Then 50 minutes by boat to Albania where we discover the city of Saranda: concrete and buildings. The guide offers us from the arrival a break in a bar-restaurant (10 minutes by bus) to rest 30 minutes 🙄... And we leave by coach to the site of Butrint (35 minutes by bus), although classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site but where visitors are free to walk anywhere, no limits or protection!? The site is of little interest to us... ruins, mosaics that are on the guides but not visible because covered with sand to protect them. Then back to the restaurant included in the price of the exit (35mn bus), a simple buffet with apple for dessert 🥴. Re-bus (20 minutes) towards the castle Lekuresi where we are offered a 15 minutes stop for the view + photo, we take the bus (20 minutes) for a free time in Saranda 50 minutes but not much to see, new constructions, bars, restaurants and few shops... Finally: Back, it's gone for 1 hour boat to Corfu and 50 minutes bus to the hotel... balance 5h30 transport..😕 It may be worth visiting Butrint if you are already in Albania, but the excursion from Corfu is disappointing...

Tout d’abord, notre programme ne prévoit pas de pause-café à l’arrivée à Saranda. Ensuite, nous ne visitons pas le château de Lekursi dans le cadre de notre itinéraire. Enfin, la visite du parc national de Butrint avec notre compagnie est toujours guidée : nos clients sont accompagnés par un guide local certifié pendant toute la durée de la visite. Nous sommes sincèrement désolés que votre expérience en Albanie avec une autre compagnie n’ait pas été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Ce pays offre pourtant de nombreux sites historiques, musées, villages traditionnels et lieux propices à la détente et à la découverte. Pretty organized and a well planned day to Sarande and Butrint. So many of the ruins are still standing and in decent shape. Bus driver managed to navigate a difficult detour due to construction. Lunch was delicious and included in my package.
