O dia emocionante começa com a retirada do seu hotel por um representante da Sanota Walkers. Em seguida, você será levado a visitar um dos templos altamente venerados do Sri Lanka, chamado Templo Gangarama, localizado no famoso e pitoresco Lago Beira, no meio da cidade de Colombo. O Templo Gangarama foi estabelecido há cento e vinte (120) anos atrás e é um dos mais importantes templos budistas no Sri Lanka. Originalmente construído para ser um pequeno eremitério em um pedaço de terra pantanosa do século XIX aC, o templo cresceu para incluir vários edifícios imponentes e se tornou um local de culto conhecido internacionalmente, um centro de aprendizado e um salão de reuniões para monges enquanto também abriga um museu, uma biblioteca e uma câmara da Relic, entre outros.
Seema Malaka é um templo budista em Colombo, Sri Lanka. O templo é usado principalmente para meditação e descanso, e não para adoração. Situado no lago Beira, o templo foi originalmente construído no final do século XIX.

A great introduction to Colombo, our guide was well versed on the city and very informative. The tour did the top highlights of the city, and show cased the the interesting mix of temples and religions. The tour is recommended for those new to the city with limited time to self explore. Lunch was also great, an opportunity to try something local.

The pick-up from the port did not work, the statement “They will be picked up at the ship and the guide has a sign with their name” did not take place. The guide spoke only English , booked and promised was a German guide.

My driver was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He drove safely. The car was clean and AC to keep me cool. I visited many temples to experience the cultural life. I ate at a wonderful restaurant for lunch. We able to go to a store for survivors.

The driver was very knowledgeable of Hindi and Buddhists temples. The sights were fantastic. Even though the tour online it says approx 6 hours, we were informed that is actually 4 hours of tour then 1 hour of shopping which was not in the description. We did 4 1/4 hours and were exhausted, so it’s the right amount of touring. We recommend this tour.

Our city tour with Subash around Colombo was excellent and quite because of Independence Day, a nice lunch at a Curry restaurant,good local information and a very caring quire.
