I was waiting at meet up spot ten minutes before the time to leave. Never saw the van and waited for 30 min in case it was running late. Asked for refund and Viator refused. So disappointed as this was my one day I could take this adventure.
It's truly a full day experience, with a decent amount of walking (the fairy pools trail is relatively steep). Bring some cash, as card readers aren't reliable on the Isle of Skye! That being said, great tour, lovely guide, and fun stops all along the way!
Amazing and memorable day with Cualann as our tour guide. We really enjoyed all the information about the history, the environment, the folklore. In addition, he was funny and friendly and had a great playlist for us! Time flew by really fast between stops. We also had enough time to enjoy the sites when we stopped. We would recommend without hesitation. Thank you again Cualann!!
Highly recommend this tour for many reasons. The experience itself is incredible - a full 12 hour day of travelling and sightseeing - you get far more than what you pay for. Though I would say the bulk of the positive experience came from our tour guide, Steven (from Inverness). Steven went above and beyond to make sure that all of us were comfortable and entertained, and put a lot of his own personal touches on the experience, from cheesy jokes to stuffed critter companions including a wild haggis. I truly felt like a kid being taken on a trip by my parents (I’m a 35 year old man, by the way!). The fairy pools were gorgeous and for that portion I would recommend wearing waterproof shoes (ideally hiking) if you plan to try to get to the top.
The tour is wonderful, just as much as Tabbie: amazing guide, brings a lot of energy, while making sure everyone is having a nice trip. Islay-Skye made the trip even better
Tabbie is an amazing guide who has the most wonderful stories. It was unfortunate that the microphone is built short and would not reach Tabbie’s mouth. It constantly moved during the trip and needed continuous reminders to readjust so that we could hear the stories. This however is a logistical issue that I hope can be fixed so that we can hear all of the infomercials instead of piecing together the story ourselves. Tabbie is great and would highly recommend her!

Tabbie was a fantastic tour guide. Unfortunately, it was raining on the isle but we still had a fanastic day. Beautiful scenery and highly informative about Scottish history! Would definitely recommend!
