Descubra a "Cidade das Três Culturas" por si mesmo! Localizado a 70 km de Madri, encontra-se Toledo, um belo museu-cidade declarado Patrimônio da Humanidade pela UNESCO. É uma das cidades mais antigas da Europa e possui uma grande beleza artística e construções de quase todos os períodos da história (estilo árabe, gótico, mudéjar, renascentista e barroco). Toledo é chamada a "Cidade das Três Culturas", já que cristãos, muçulmanos e judeus moravam juntos. No século XVI, era também o local de residência do grande pintor El Greco. Uma vez em Toledo, você organizará seu dia em Toledo como quiser. Uma caminhada guiada de 1 hora em Toledo está incluída. Retorno a Madri a partir de Toledo às 16:00, o ponto de encontro em Toledo para retorno será em frente ao Restaurante Hacienda del Cardenal (Pº de Recaredo 24), próximo à Puerta de Bisagra. Faremos um passeio panorâmico de ônibus e pararemos em Mirador del Valle para tirar fotos.

Neste passeio você pode desfrutar de um passeio de aproximadamente 50 min. pelo lado de fora da cidade. O trem fará uma parada no mirante do Vale, onde podemos desfrutar de uma esplêndida vista panorâmica da cidade de Toledo.
Esta construção Mudéjar foi construída em 1180. Possui cinco naves separadas por pilares que sustentam arcos de ferradura. No século XV, foi convertido em igreja, embora hoje seja simplesmente um monumento aberto aos visitantes. Tem um tecto em caixotão de madeira, altares platerescos e um retábulo da escola de Berruguete.
A igreja paroquial deve ter sido fundada após a reconquista cristã da cidade por Alfonso VI em 1085, como a primeira notícia que temos da sua existência é de 1142. Desde o primeiro edifício mudéjar, tem mantido o grande arco multifólio sobreposto ao arco principal que separa a nave principal do presbitério, juntamente com os robustos contrafortes desta parte da nave e um pequeno arco de trevo sobre um friso de tijolos dispostos em estilo mudéjar que sobrevive na parte alta do que costumava ser o santuário semicircular do igreja original de nave única.
A catedral do primata de Saint Mary de Toledo é uma igreja católica romana em Toledo, Espanha. É a sede da Arquidiocese Metropolitana de Toledo
Hoje é o local do Museu do Exército da cidade. Sua construção data dos tempos romanos. Durante os reinos de Afonso VI e Alfonso X 'o Sábio' foi reconstruído e se tornou o primeiro exemplo de uma fortaleza quadrada com torres nos cantos. Foi novamente reconstruído sob o imperador Carlos V, nesta ocasião pelo arquiteto Alonso de Covarrubias. As fachadas são de estilo renascentista, e tem torres e defesas de ameias de acordo com um projeto preliminar de Alonso de Covarrubias, posteriormente concluído por Juan de Herrera. Após a última reconstrução, tornou-se o local dos escritórios e do museu do Exército.

The tour company overbooked. We were the last two standing with one seat left on the bus. After 30 confusing minutes they took a single rider off the bus and we boarded, sitting at opposite ends of the coach. Very poor organization and communication.

We had spent nights in Toledo before.Tour guide recommended that we do not do the Tourist Train, but to do her tour, so we paid 20 euros each extra to do so. Problem was we were constantly on the move with little time to take photos other than the designated stops. We felt rushed and we had no intention of having lunch, but we would not have had time anyway. I would call this a non stop whirlwind tour of Toledo, and would recommend seeing the Alcazar rather than the Synagogue, which was not really much to see. Also, the area where we were let loose for lunch was isolated with not many choices to eat.
Dear William, You bought our Toledo Full day on your own with a panoramic tour in the Tourist Train of Toledo. Given that you were already doing a bus panoramic tour with us, our guide gave you the option to upgrade your tour visiting 2 other monuments with the group, instead of doing the train panoramic tour, and you agreed with this. The 20 euros you paid was for the ticket to the cathedral with an inside guided tour. We are sorry that you regret to have made that choice and that you would have preferred to have enjoyed more free time on your own. The Synagogue you visited is a National Monument, and one of the highlights of the city. We agree with you that the Alcazar is also very interesting, specially for those people interested in the military history as it’s the Museum of the Army. Our tour stopped for lunch in an area with a few restaurants and shops for our travelers to choose the one they prefer. It’s great that you spent some nights in Toledo before. The kindness and sympathy of the guide Arantxa make the excursion very enjoyable. Despite taking the tour on our own, on the bus ride and on the walk to the meeting point he gives very interesting explanations. The tourist train part is really unnecessary, because it makes the same route around the city that the bus already makes when it arrives there. It would be more beneficial if you included another attraction in its place.
