Sigiriya é a atração turística número um do Sri Lanka e o local mais visitado. Este lugar é reconhecido como a oitava maravilha do mundo antigo. Rocha de granito natural de altura de 660 pés (200 metros) foi convertida em uma fortaleza incrível bem protegida entre 477 - 495 CE. O complexo da fortaleza inclui vestígios de um palácio em ruínas, cercado por uma extensa rede de fortificações, vastos jardins, lagoas, canais, becos e fontes.
O templo da caverna de Dambulla é o templo o mais visitado de Sri Lanka e uma atracção turística superior. Este antigo templo budista foi construído em 103 aC e 89-77 aC e existem cinco cavernas que pertencem a cinco séculos diferentes. My wife and I had an amazing 10 days tour in Sri Lanka with Traumland Tours and they really nailed it. One of best tour operators we ever experienced in our travel life. From the beginning to the end of the tour, they provided a superb service, specially our tour guide -Mr Tharindu. A young but very knowledgeable, energetic, story telling and super friendly tour guide, also a fantastic driver. We travelled around the country in a very comfortable car that has strong air con and we enjoyed our every single ride. The highlights of the tour are Sigiriya rock fortress that became my most favourite place on earth. Safari tour of Yala was truly remarkable and we were able to spot leopards and elephants. The company had arranged a very knowledgeable safari driver for our tour and he knows where the animals roam. Truly fascinating. We would love to recommend Traumland Tours and Tharindu for anyone who wants to explore Sri Lanka. Hugs and Thanks.

My trip to Sri Lanka with Traumland Tours was pure bliss! Their flawless planning took me from the iconic Sigiriya Rock to the serene beaches of Mirissa, with stops at lush Nuwara Eliya tea plantations and the cultural gem of Kandy. I had been planning since long to post this review with my detailed travel blog. But seldom do things go as planned, so till the time my blog post is ready, let me quickly add my experience of the trip. I visited this beautiful country with family, in April end and was skeptical initially with the economic crisis going on. But I am glad we decided to go for it. Enjoyed each and every day we spent there with delicious food and marvellous views. The country is blessed not only with breathtaking landscapes and priceless herbs but also inhabits polite and warm people. Traumland made the stay even more better. Dileep ansh Dilhaan, both of them took care of our versatile needs with poise ans patience. They made sure we get the max and the best in our 10 day tour. Be it choice of cafés or hotels, scenic photoshoots, shopping spree, they took care of everything with our taste and preferences in mind, something not easy to manage with a family with members from 11 years old to 70. The vehicle was also nicely maintained. Would also like to put on record the assistance he provided going out of the way to help us with the unfortunate incident that occurred with us. We missed our cards at the Negombo beach and had it not been with their help, it would have been difficult for us to manage on a foreign land. Shall share the Itinary-wise details through my blog soon. Till then, if you are planning to visit the beautiful country , no second thoughts and for travel operator, you know Traumland is the name.

We are a young couple who travel alot and we alway have our own plans of traveling.But during this pandemic situation, we are bit concern about our safety as well as the restrictions of each country. Sri Lanka was always on our top list and planned our tour plan. For that we contacted Traumland Tours for suggestions, information and advices. They are absoloutly professional, friendly and helpful. Mindika replied right away to our initial email and assisted us to plan our perfect trip to Sri Lanka.Since we had our own terms and ideas of where to travel, where to stay and what to do, Mindika added, amended the activities perfectly and gave us important suggestions. Especially details about the COVID Test before the arrival and before our departure. Traumland Tours provided an exceptional professional service from the pick up until we left. Tharindu was our chauffeur. Young, passionate, knowledgable guide and the driver. We found out that what Mindika suggested, recommended and added were absoloutly worth and practical. He called several times and checked we are doing well. All hotels that they recommended were really good, really comfortable, good service and good food. We only had 9 full days in Sri Lanka, we wanted to visit and do as much as possible. So we travel alot and did cover many attractions within 9 days. But there are lot to see and do still,another reason to visit this beautiful island again. And definitely we will book our next trip with Traumland Tours. I was in Sri Lanka last November and was fortunate to go on a 5-day tour with Dilan. This was my second trip with him. We are from Amsterdam, Netherlands and experienced one of our best holiday. We visited beautiful Island in Asia, Sri Lanka for 2 weeks and its a holiday we will never forget. Had the best tour guide, Dilan. The owner of Traumland Tours. He customized our tour perfectly more than we expected with his great knowledge and experiences of the job. Ancient Sri Lanka is fascinating, island is full of wildlife, mostly everywhere you will spot something. Very green country with amazing people. The most delicate thing is, " Sri Lankan food". Truly mouthwatering and we enjoyed food. Traumland Tours had booked our hotels and we never expected such luxury beautiful hotels. The price is very reasonable and you will get a seven star service with Traumland Tours. Since our tour was 13 days, we know we need more days to cover entire Sri Lanka. So we come back. I planned my solo trip to Sri Lanka with Dilan of Traumland Tours. His communication is excellent. Replied to my every email very fast. And sent me every detail which i should know about my trip. I was advised by Traumland Tours and Mindyk Dylan by my friends in Germany (and they know how to choose the perfect value for money). And since I was traveling alone, it was important to me that I be safe and that the guide become my friend and fellow traveler for the duration of the trip. In preliminary correspondence, Mindika answered all questions instantly and in detail. At the meeting the impression was confirmed - a pro, punctual, with great English, loves his country and does everything to make tourists love it and want to return. Working and travelling around the country is his passion! But he is also an interesting interlocutor, educated, with a broad outlook and a good sense of humor, delicate and caring, and a great driver – in fact, the perfect companion for a solo traveler. I was able to see a lot in these 7 days - the tour was planned to see the main sights, take a break for a beach holiday and go on safari. Mindika had given good advice on my future stay in Sri Lanka (for accommodation, food, etc.) and it was important for me to know that I had a friend to whom I could turn for advice if necessary. I and my partner booked a day trip to the ancient highlights of Sri Lanka- Sigiriya rock & Dambulla cave temple with Traumland Tours. We found Traumland tours during the web search & they have really good ranks. Their communication is very professional and detailed. The tour was booked instantly.The booking was last minute but their payment method is very flexible. We were picked up from Galle Face hotel Colombo by the guide from Traumland tours. They had provided an amazing tour guide along with a luxury SUV for our trip. Tour was well organized and delivered an excellent service. We both loved the drive of the trip. The climb of Sigiriya rock was bit of a challenge but worth of climbing to the top. Dambulla cave temple is also fascinating. Traumland Tours delivered us an excellent service and we would love to highly recommend Traumland Tours to any traveler who visits beautiful Sri Lanka.
