Este é o edifício mais icônico do palácio, muitas vezes referido como o "Pavilhão Real". Construído em estilo tailandês, ele fica lindamente no meio de um lago sereno. Os viajantes vão admirar a grande estrutura, que uma vez serviu como um retiro real. Os visitantes podem tirar fotos, passear pela área e desfrutar da paisagem tranquila que melhora a atmosfera da realeza.
O chedi elevado (stupa) em Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon é outra característica notável do templo. Com 62 metros de altura, é uma das estruturas mais altas das ruínas de Ayutthaya. O chedi é coberto de tecido dourado e possui uma base circular que leva a uma grande espiral cônica. Os visitantes podem subir as escadas até o topo do chedi para desfrutar de vistas panorâmicas da área circundante, incluindo outras ruínas do templo e o verde exuberante da região.

We really enjoyed the tour arrangements and our Bamboo tour guide. The time for sightseeing is perfectly calculated, so you keep up with everything without stretching it out. Bamboo talks interestingly, constantly interacting with the band. We recommend it!

We had Bamboo as our tour guide and he was amazing he explained everything in detail and answered any questions we had. He also reminded us to drink our water and informed us the historical sites had free umbrellas we could use. We will definitely be booking with him again :)

Good experience with tour guide Bamboo, he was very informative about the history of Ayutthaya. Weather was nice and clear, sun was hot. But there was maybe coffeeshop to get cold drinks.
