O horário de partida de Antigua é às 6h. Ao longo da estrada existem vários bons restaurantes com pequenas exposições de artesanato, ideal para parar por alguns minutos, esticar as pernas, tomar um bom café, tomar um café da manhã rápido, usar instalações ou fazer compras se estiver interessado em produtos locais. Antes de chegar ao nosso destino, recomenda-se fazer uma parada final no mirante do lago para tirar algumas fotos. O programa do dia é o seguinte: • 06:00 - Hotel Pick up em Antigua Guatemala • 7h15 - parada rápida no restaurante Chichoy para usar as instalações, tomar café ou tomar café da manhã • 8h45 - Parada rápida no ponto de vista do lago • 09:00 - Chegada a Panajachel e tempo livre • 9h15 - Excursão de barco em grupo visitando as seguintes Vilas Maias: San Juan, San Pedro e Santiago • 16:00 - Transferência para Antigua • 19:00 - Chegada a Antigua Guatemala

Our driver Mario was kind courteous and safe driver. Made the ride super easy. Joel our Mayan tour guide loves his job and it shows. Speaks three languages English Spanish and Mayan. Great young man. The towns were authentic and something you don’t see very often. Tuk Tuks everywhere and Mayan people all over. We had a great time!

A perfect day trip! We started off with a comfortable (but long!) car ride to Lake Atitlan. Upon arrival, we met our guide, David, and had breakfast with a view. He was a wonderful guide who made sure we experienced all we wanted to see. We loved San Juan and Santiago. We opted to skip San Pedro so our kids could have time swimming in the lake. Would highly recommend this excursion. And if you go, hope you are lucky to have David as well!

A must do experience. Yes, it's a long day and a fair amount of travel but it's worth it. The lake is beautiful, and the trips to the islands situated within it, getting a sense of how people live and work, and the history of both Guatemala and its people made this a great day. Rene, our driver and Joel , our guide , were fantastic.
The Lake Atitlan tour made for a long but interesting day. The three villages we visited on the trip were diverse and worth visiting. Our guide did a good job of explaining the history of the area and the people who live there now. The slight reduction in our rating of this tour is due to the traffic that we encountered on the drive from Antigua to the lake. It's not a reflection on the driver or the guide, but the travel time to and from the lake can be tedious.
